This is a small, family-owned company. The management were approachable and easy to work with. The office staff were really cliquey so it is best to keep to yourself. When I was there, the pay was ok, but the benefits package wasn't good - no RRSP matching or retirement benefits.
I worked here for a short time. Area manager was abusive, demeaning and would gas light. Lots of favouritism. HR not supportive. No one to help so I had to quit. Not enough rewards to give up 6 days a week to work here. Pay was super low. Beautiful homes, cheap company with zero pros to work here.
The owner and former president were great people to work with, unfortunately who they have running the company now do not have the education or the knowledge to effectively run the company. Tons of favoritism with no opportunity for advancement. They are extremely old fashioned and refuse to update their ways or incorporate a modern way of doing business.
Designing floor plans and elevations for condo buildings within the city is challenging and fun - lots of variation in the job requirements and keeps you busy. Lots of amazing people on the team to work with.
A good company to work for, had a very good building format after being in business for 40 years. As a general Superintendent I found the hardest issue was to dismiss staff, the core group of senior superintendents was an enjoyable group to work with.
