Depending on where you live (rural or urban) and whether there is access to public transportation, having a vehicle can be of benefit. Many of our employees have a personal vehicle but others may rely on public transportation to get from one patient to another. All employees are required to provide a clear back ground check prior to commencing employment. All employees who provide care to patients in their home must also provide a clear vulnerable sector screen. Working hours vary based on the position you hold within the organization. For example, patients may require daily visits, weekly visits, 24 hour care (i.e. 8-12 hour shifts) etc. Patient visits will be assigned based on the availability you provide at the time of hire as well as geographical location. Each program (i.e. personal support program, nursing program, e-Shift program) has different needs.
