Entreprise à croissance très rapide et nouvelle, donc il faut aimer le défi. C'est un domaine en expension importante! Aucune journée se ressemble!
Par contre, avantages sociaux compétitifs, happy hours, café et pommes à volonté!

Les collègues sont très sympathiques.

Management bully people and do NOTHING about harassment. they treat all the good employees terribly that work their butts off to get their precious numbers. there is no chance of moving up within the company unless you suck up to management and become a favorite, they dont care about actual skills. nepotism runs rampant and it shows. management are all failed wally world supervisors that stand around with their thumbs up their butts and think they are above everyone because of their job title. NO organization or proper communication, if something goes wrong you get blamed for it. you get grouped up together and talked to like a child by incompetent people that shouldn't be in position of authority, its like going back to high school again. you dont get paid to do extra duties like doing team lead work or being an operator, they dont value their employees, you can work there for years and still make the same pay. for a company that claims to be so reputable, they are so unprofessional and toxic to work for. dont waste your time

Supervisor was awesome, helpful and accommodating. Helped me find other employment when there was no longer a position for me. Adhered to company rules, regulations, policies etc. while being fair and personable.

A garbage company to work for, and is spiraling downhill due to nepotism. management and hr are full of incompetent failed Walmart supervisors who power trip and treat people badly to feel better about themselves. you only get promoted if your the right persons friend, they dont care about actual skills and work ethic, its all about favoritism and you get scr*wed over on your postilion without any warning. they dont allow you to ask any questions or else you get called an energy vampire which is a bunch of BS. management is miserable and dont know what they are doing, the one manager even does roids. the other one treated everyone terribly and is a total parasite that everyone is sick of. just a toxic environment to work in, they try to brainwash you to believe it is such a good company to work for, but there is no chance of going anywhere and no organization whatsoever. the weed has mold in it, you get grouped together and talked to like a child. you are underpaid, they dont seem to value their employees and keep them at minimum wage even after being there for a few years, or if you take on more responsibility. dont work here if you have any dignity, find something better.

Procurement department is very fun place to work at. The manager and the co-workers are all very nice. The company culture is very good. The purchasing job is keeping you busy but you will learn a lot in the job.

The people you work with, tremendous. The people you work for, not so much. Most management are some of the worst, out of touch people I have ever had the pleasure to work for. They do not listen to their knowledgable staff. Treat their staff with little to no respect. Promotions/advancements in the early days were based on skills, now based on how friendly you are with your superior.

Quality is talked about like it is most important but in reality it is not. Only thing important is meeting KPI's at any cost and the bottom line/share price.


Instead of striving to be the first they should have just tried to be good at something, anything.

There really is no typical day at work at Canopy Growth as the priorities of management are everchanging. It is a very dynamic workplace so this aspect may appeal to certain people as it does give you the opportunity to learn something new all the time. However; considering the amount of work that is put in by employees on a daily basis just to make things work, the pay, benefits and opportunities for growth are not sufficient.

Very toxic and dysfunctional workplace. Favouritism is rampant. Safety protocols are ignored frivolously. Health and safety has no involvement with the staff. The HR department is a joke.

I honestly enjoyed working here. People are friendly, open-minded and fun-loving. I enjoyed a lot of perks and benefits given by the company. The pay was fair and the workload was fine.

This is not for the faint of heart. We work hard we but we have lots of fun. Things are consistently changing and it has been a wild ride. Management style is relaxed as long as you do your work. They have flexible hours and monthly happy hours. Co-workers are awesome! The culture is great! It feels good to work for a company that is evolving, inventing and making a difference in people’s lives.

CGC had a great culture, supporting local towns with jobs and contracts and supporting employees. Unfortunately as the company grew so fast, the culture became more corporate and the teams too large until CGC became unable to be nimble or pivot.
Then new leadership came in and laid off over 1000 ppl globally in a quarter. Now the culture is one of fear about job security and further mass layoffs. And the closures of large facilities, retail locations and offices resulted in the loss of local jobs is the antithesis of supporting local.

Enjoyed my time with Canopy. Would recommend. Good hours and benefits. Management was good however high turnover. Benefit package was good but didn't cover eyes

Execs and upper management lie to employees and make promises they don't honour. They constantly fire people and make motives up - salaries seem good at first glance but there is no job security whatsoever. If you're in Canada, don't bother, they've fired about 1000 people in Canada in the first 4 months of 2020. This was done without any indication that anything was wrong and while being lied to that no one was going to lose their jobs, time and time again. High % of people hired with no experience and what's worse is there is almost no training and process for new hires which becomes a burden on teams. Some people are worked to the bones and have to work nights and weekends while some others socialize almost all day, there is no balance. Upper management is clueless and has little to no experience and some treat employees like trash. Workplace culture is awful, I've heard so many people degrade others and call them names and be bullies and abusive and this is tolerated from managers all the way to HR. I'm very disappointed by this company and wish I had never worked there. If you apply, consider that it is a risk because of the high level of layoffs and firing and don't trust execs and management personnel, they will lie to your face and do it with a smile.

Unfortunately due to the lack of knowledge, common sense, and effort on managements part the facility I worked at got shut down permanently. The mangers were either far to young and inexperienced or they just had no clue how this industry works. Co workers were disappointing to work with, many saying ‘I don’t get paid enough to do this’. Overall pathetic work ethic from a majority of employees.The hardest thing about this job was looking busy when there wasn’t anything to do.

If I could have voted with zero stars, I would have. Giving them 1 star is too many. Worst experience of my life. Management is useless and couldn't manage their way out of a paper bag. Nepotism runs rampant. Management changes the rules daily to suit their agenda. And God forbid you question them about anything. The answer to that was, 'it is not your place to question, just do it'.
Bullying and harrassment are swept under the rug to protect the department's 'image'. Management does not care about the employees, only their little clique(who 'conveniently' all got promoted to the best jobs). They tell you they have your back, while conspiring behind it. If you are not a 'yes' man, you will never advance and they will probably be trying to find a way to get rid of you.

I have never worked for a more pathetic bunch of people. It's sad...I had such high hopes when I started. Look elsewhere if you want to be treated fairly and promoted because of good work...unless you are a butt-kisser, then you should advance quickly. Don't waste your time applying at this pathetic excuse for a company.

If you are willing to work your butt off with no chance of promotion or fair pay then step right up. They will suck everything out of you and then just discard you without a backwards look.

They make it seem amazing and promising from the start to be a part of this great culture. And it is for about a week. Until you realize there are no real processes in place for just about anything. The hours are long, they don’t pay overtime and they thank you by laying you off.

When I started with the farm the original site manager was FANTASTIC.
There was Collaborative group meetings in the morning, safety first, positive work place.

Long hours but we all got along and made it work.

Change of manager to one who did not share the original values or concerns.

Broken promises of continued employment and blatant favoritism brought about the layoff of senior personnel to keep "yes men" in place.

Higher injury rates and less preventative measures.

Receiving product, couriers,transport trailers.Input in SAGE program. Inventory control forklifting orders from greenhouse. Management changed often. Many different cultures. Challenges receiving
multiple deliveries at the same time. Working with different people of all ethnicity.
