No Flexible hours, No work from home, benefits for families not paying, big chunk going for benefits, no shares buying option, one great thing 9 to 5 work for everyone not one minute extra to work, eating place mandatory in cafeteria.
Below average salary and management that is concerned with their own well being first. Not a bad company, decent perks, nice building, good people, but not a great company compared to similar manufacturers.
A company who is very prestige but does not have a proper work training.... Some of the people is nice but overall not good environment.... Management have a favoritism with employee. GM IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNREASONABLE
a dynamic workplace can work at your own pace very relaxed environment and co-workers are friendly management is nice though a bit scattered and at times vague overall great experience and an excellent place to start a career
If u get a chance to work in sales for corporate role, its fine but as a field sales rep it is worst. You dont get paid enough, gas is fixed no matter how far you have to travel. Monarchy culture in western canada
Great view, good lab, friendly staff and great team work. I learned a lot about printers working as a technical support representative. I also learned about many different operating systems is Mac 10.5-10.13, IOS and android.
Companies like this become a training ground for other companies. Pay is merely adequate and below other companies. It’s a nice enough place to work, nice people and so on, but management cares first and foremost about profit and they are unsentimental about axing good employees for the bottom line.
Go ahead and work there. Get some experience then get a better job. Most do.
A typical day at work is cold-calling over the phone or going out to get new businesses. Working on salesforce and input all opportunities and leads you had on the salesforce. Management is good and always there for help.
Enjoyed my time at Canon very much -great work environment- but constant changes in branch management, changes in management styles and unrealistic KPIs, made it challenging and less enjoyable to work in the end.
Good work/ life balance, great benefits, brand recognition
Management, lots of employee rotation, pay could be better
Canon’s Edmonton branch is suffocated by the sales manager, as evidence by the very frequent turnover of sales staff. The manager has a his way or the highway mentality, even went proven wrong. He refuses to admit when he is wrong or take responsibility for his actions. Unless you are from India, he will treat you very disrespectfully. Avoid this branch until management changes.
