Avis d'employé sur Croix Rouge Canadienne
Only 2 great things about this job...
The flexible schedule and some of the clients! Everything else about this job stinks! You are driving your own vehicle to and from clients' homes all over town, without being paid. You only get paid for the hours you spend at a client's home. For example, if you work 9-3, instead of getting paid for 6 hours, you may only get paid for 3 or 4. I have to say that working with some of the seniors is a very rewarding though! Most of them appreciate everything that you do for them.

Too much driving, and not enough pay
I definitely wouldn't call this a career job! However, the most rewarding thing about working for the Canadian Red Cross as a seniors homemaker, was the daily interaction with the seniors. That was awesome! Mind you, some of the old-timers could be quite picky!
Loved working with Seniors. All are very nice folks. They appreciate the work you do for them.I work at my own pace but make sure I get done what I need to do. Make sure I leave room for extra clients.
not getting paid.
