Avis d'employé sur Croix Rouge Canadienne
Great opportunity to work for a charitable organization like the Red Cross. Challenging new org structure was introduced during the time i was hired left me wondering when i would be found redundant.

Red Cross -Transportation Department Work experience was good and educative. It gave me the opportunity of exercising my people skills behind the desk as well as in person. I was able to build relationships with the volunteers and staff and complement the work/duties as per the requirement. My experience of starting as a Passenger Assistant helped me to understand the interpersonal skills required to deal with the clientele and staff. This further helped me when I was offered the post of a Service Coordinator/Administrator. Red Cross service to the community is very honorable and working in an environment with a mindset focused on humanitarian needs is very Nobel and Humbling. Serving the community has always been my goal, and being part of making society better was very fulfilling. Working at Red Cross has been very purposeful and has taught me many life skills. These teachings always make one a better person.
Uniform, Benefits, meeting various volunteers and staff from various places.
Old Transportation, Mechanical delays, Office Heating;
The organization seems to undergo a major restructuring every 5 years. . Work spaces are comfortable and accommodating. The work environment is highly respectful and encourages continues improvement. Hardest part of the job was dealing with bureaucracy and funding. Best part of the job was feeling you are helping where it is needed most.
Healthy work environment.
Dealing with inter office politics.
