Great Organization, Caring managementIt is a great organization. Great culture. I have enjoyed all 10 years. The most enjoyable part for me was sense of belonging. Each n every day with every call I was able to help people in various forms. Weather it was scheduling to the services they were looking for or guiding them to the appropriate support n services.

challengingGreat opportunity to work for a charitable organization like the Red Cross. Challenging new org structure was introduced during the time i was hired left me wondering when i would be found redundant.

Service Coordinator/Administrator (Mississauga, ON and Oakville, ON and Milton, ON)

Red Cross was an excellent work environment. The work role emphasised the quality of work required that had to be the BEST. It also had Fund raisingRed Cross -Transportation Department Work experience was good and educative. It gave me the opportunity of exercising my people skills behind the desk as well as in person. I was able to build relationships with the volunteers and staff and complement the work/duties as per the requirement. My experience of starting as a Passenger Assistant helped me to understand the interpersonal skills required to deal with the clientele and staff. This further helped me when I was offered the post of a Service Coordinator/Administrator. Red Cross service to the community is very honorable and working in an environment with a mindset focused on humanitarian needs is very Nobel and Humbling. Serving the community has always been my goal, and being part of making society better was very fulfilling. Working at Red Cross has been very purposeful and has taught me many life skills. These teachings always make one a better person.
