Conductor (Ancien employé) – Toronto, ON – 2 juin 2019
If you can live with staying away from home for extended periods, sacrificing your social and personal life, being burnt out and working with little to no appreciation from the management and living under fear of getting fired after a mistake which inevitably will happen due to the fear culture and being overworked under stress then this is the job for you. Ps. the only silver lining would be the pay and benefits but is that worth it for the sacrifice you're gonna make for the family as you only got one life! Choose wisely!

I think workjng there was the best job ecer paid every Friday. And the company was nice and fun to work with time flew by and hey great work out. I met alot of different people from all over the world. And I learned how to be safe unlocking and locking containers on a train. Also learnt alot about safety as well as others safety. I took temperatures on containers. And tagged containers for damage.

If you can get past the negative work/life balance climate and the company politics it can be a rewarding lifetime career and the fellow workmates you encounter can be lifelong friends if you engage in a positive manner.
