A typical day involves signing in to your computer system, checking daily updates and receiving claims to examine. It learnt the different types of insurances as well as procedures necessary for processing them. Management i very good, helpful and supportive as well as co-workers although management does push excessively for results. my hardest part will have to be the constant pressure from supervisors and most enjoyable part is the friendly co workers.

Micromanaged with very high quotas and constant nit-picking. Hire several in the fall and tell them we intend to hire everyone on in 12 months. Historically we hire less than 10%. Didn't used to be this way.

In the 12 years working for this company there was real help to move people off the bottom floor into advanced or better positions. The pay for those at the bottom is $5-6 per hour less than the competition. They also ended up micromanaging everything we did because all they could look for was to cut jobs down the bottom instead of looking at CEO pay or the number of managers to run one department. Look elsewhere like Blue Cross or Wawanesa Insurance if you want a starting position in this industry!
