Terrible place to work
This company talks about mental health a lot and how much work/life balance is important, but in all honesty they do things to majorly impact your mental health in a very negative way. I was never told during my interview or even in training that we HAD to pay/assess over 20 claims an hour. I had terrible training - for such big company you’d think they would be able to train for two different learning styles because everyone knows there is two different types - visual learners/hands on and book type. They don’t train you fully before your on the floor. The places they tell you to look for help are written in terrible English with often no punctuation making it difficult to know which way to take the instruction. Things are even spelt incorrectly. It’s a terrible place to start working.

Constant work pressure! No fun! Can get advancement only if you know someone within department!
Don't waste your time! Doesn't worth! As a claim processor you will be least rewarded compared to other positions! Only take this position if you want to break your back!

Bad experience
only their own people will get permanent hired or help for any thing. I worked so many places before never had experience like this. Maybe I was alone brown person there. Not sure why. Some else had perfume and emailed me . He suppose to make sure before saying. They fire people so easily for any small mistake.

Bullying Environment and Colleagues working in fear from Management
Have been working for the company for over 15 years now. It drastically changed in the wrong direction. Their new name and the business centralization caused many professionals to stay with no work. The called "voluntary" early retirements, the job role closures, the performance reviews on certain not in favour employees have been conducted since 2017 with the purpose to save capital and hire new individuals at lower salaries. The turnover in this company is the highest among the insurance sectors. The labour exploitation is unspeakable and no union to protect the worker. If you complain, you are to be stagmatised and blamed and accused in allegations. Have seen examples of many human humiliations over individuals. They just choose to leave and not fight a lost battle with a company like this where HR covers up the wrongdoing. The benefit plan is the only good factor left but the human health is more important. I was diagnosed with a condition due to the stress and workload that eventually harm you. Will change careers to safe my personal balance and life. I regret because the company is my home for years. I have witnessed abuse on ppl to manage over the normal rate of caseload to the point when one of the colleagues had to go in medical leave. This caseload is now managed by 2 colleagues because it is the way to fix the managers' mistake. But it caused this person's health because managers did never listen or wanted to accept the feedback or care for their worker's health. Favouritism is monstrous in the office. I hope one day the company to be reborn in what it used to be. It is the absolute truth never mind what they will reply to this review. The ethics in business is what is lacking the most for this office.

That was 20 years ago and I don't recall, but they were mostly about working within a team environment and who I would go to if I had a problem with the paperwork.
