I think the level of satisfaction depends on what business unit you end up in. If it's Operations, chances are you're better off elsewhere. Project... seems like they give you the moon. Better work hours, annual bonuses, etc. I'm not complaining too much because I chose to stay in this job. I was much happier when I worked remotely, but policy has changed and everyone is compelled to work in the office. This has greatly upset my work / life balance. The locations in Montreal do not have free parking, but most are easily accessible by public transit. Food options tend to be limited, so pack a lunch as well.
A lot of opportunities in CGI which you can grow your career. I have learned a lot and gained very good experience in CGI. But the job is not secure since you have to look for the job all the time from one project to the next project.
challege and good opportunites
job is not secure

The company has a great concept on success. Many process and option to ensure greatness. The breakdown happens on the lower echelons when some of the teams lose sight of these and forget that a company is built on the shoulders of 3 things (Clients, shareholders and members) not only 1 (clients).
Large company that has a well defined company goal
Management sometimes forget that we are all human
Pros: Flexible with work hours Good options for personal development Cons Career is self managed Client and project circumstances determine the career advancement. You may not get to work on the projects that you want to work due to the client demands.
This organization is not just siloed by tiers, but the tiers actively fight and compete with each other in front of the client. Knowledge is rarely transferred effectively and a steady stream of people passing through roles make solving even simple problems more rigorous and difficult than they should be. As an independent consultant, you may have a different experience altogether as some friends have stayed with CGI for some time. If you are working for an IT-outsourced client and intend to stay within your job description, this organization may provide you with a good fit.
Work flexibility offered and considered as needed
Requests for training go unanswered and unfulfilled
