Was a decent job to start out, there was always a bit of drama a schedule issues but that's what you get when hiring kids but it always worked out. The managers made decent pay from what I remember

The owner and head manager was terrible. I was 16 and they required I work overnight shifts. They refused to give any raises even if the staff has been with them for over 20 years

Terrible management, lazy coworkers

Worst place I've ever worked. Was only there 6months and watched about 10 people leave. Management couldn't care less. Place was filthy and management picked and chose who to blame and had favourites. You could book one day off three weeks in advance and still couldn't get it. Manager would get mad if you can't stay late or come in off your off day.

How good this job is depends on whether you've got fun coworkers and relaxed management who doesn't expect you to act busy after you've finished everything you were assigned. Easy enough work, teaching you some transferrable skills.

I love to go to Burger King, the staff members are always very warm and kind with me and my family, their food taste good and their coke cola is not watered down, their sauce is good, their meat is cooked, and I am always smiling after BK. :)

It's okay, but management needs more training.

To be honest, the workplace is okay I didn't really have a problem, until the management changed. I never expect that once new managers come in, some of them have bad attitude when handling with customers and other employees. I honestly suggest that new managers should be trained more because some people go only for the money and not improving the skills that are essential as a manager.Another point, there wouldn't be consistency on the schedule, unless you're the manager's favourite or something like that. If you're trying to change your schedule and you're not the manager's favourite, you will no get accommodation for that. Overall, it's an alright pay, but the management needs big improvement.

Very toxic place

During my time working as a crew member at Burger King, I encountered several challenges and had a negative experience overall. Some of the key issues I faced include:Poor Management: The management at Burger King was disorganized and lacked effective leadership. There was a lack of clear communication, and instructions were often inconsistent or unclear. This resulted in confusion among the crew members and made it difficult to perform our duties efficiently.Inadequate Training: The training provided to new employees was insufficient and rushed. As a result, I felt ill-prepared to handle various tasks and encountered difficulties in meeting the expectations of customers. The lack of proper training also hindered my ability to advance and take on additional responsibilities within the restaurant.High-Stress Environment: The fast-paced nature of the job combined with understaffing issues created a high-stress work environment. There were often long queues of customers, and it was challenging to maintain quality service while working under pressure. This constant stress negatively impacted my job satisfaction and overall well-being.Lack of Recognition and Growth Opportunities: Despite putting in my best efforts, there was a lack of recognition for my hard work and dedication. The company did not provide opportunities for growth or advancement, leaving me feeling undervalued and demotivated. An okay job

A lot of work for a minimum wage job and fast paced, can even be stressful if working as cashier. Nothing surprising for a fast food job though. Working with the right people can make the experience way better.

They provide great environment for their employees and customers As I already worked at burger King They provide flexible schedules to their employees. This company values employees growth and development. It's such an exciting experience to work there.

Fun and productive work place

Not many hours sometimes. The environment was stressful and pressuring. The co-workers were mostly helpful and good at teamwork. The managers and coordinators are underpaid but still good workers. My customer service skills were enhanced.

Not worth it

Working for a fast food is already bad as it is but having toxic coworkers just makes it worse. Schedule is all over the place and they barely train their staff. Once you start closing they'll abuse of your kindness...

only a good job if the manager likes you

i’ve worked here almost 8 months, and no matter the management we have it’s always the same pattern- you only get hours and you’re only respected if the manager likes you. it’s a very toxic workplace, your team members and managers are always gossiping about you, you can’t trust any of your co-workers, and you can’t ask for days off without you automatically becoming “irresponsible”. the management are very childish, and it makes the job stressful.

Fun and Relaxed

You will make lots of fun friends here. The only downside is that fillipino managers always bug international students. It always lead to some tension in the workplace and created some toxicity.

Fast paced and organized workplace

Working here was great and mostly fast-paced with little idle time between tasks. I learned many things about customer service and the fast food industry at this job with a positive environment and supportive peers. Overall, a great working experience.

Hours of work won’t cover your gas. People in charge make real poor financial decisions that make things bad. Supervisors are all foreign. Poor staff moralr

Fun, But Very Stressful and Potentially Taxing

Enjoyed interacting with the customers and the approach the company used. I enhanced my customer service skills and learned the proper food preparation procedures.

Over worked and under paid.

No online training (whmis, MOL, etc provided) minimal position training. Will not follow your availability criteria.Will promise certain wage, then pay you minimum. No benefits, insurance, vacation, NO OVERTIME PAY.Will rarely meet hourly minimum.
