The branch I worked at was not that relatively busy compared to somewhere in a big city, so it wasn't that stressful. Coworkers were pretty friendly and always ready to help you out. Manager was approachable

the job itself was honestly fun and nice but its the customers who genuinely ruin it

Overall the work itself was not that hard. i was fortunate enough to have a great general manager and assistant manager (cant say the same for the other managers). you just have to do whats expected of u and you'll be fine. u just have to have a lot of patience for the cheap customers who complain about 5$ whopper jr meal deal that you didn't even price but yea.

Working at Burger King has been a disappointing experience filled with frustration and dissatisfaction. From the moment I stepped in, it felt like chaos ruled the kitchen. The management seemed indifferent, displaying a lack of organization and communication skills. Shifts were often understaffed, leaving employees overworked and stressed out. The work environment was unhygienic, with dirty equipment and floors that were rarely cleaned thoroughly. Additionally, the pay was barely above minimum wage, which hardly felt like compensation for the demanding tasks and unpleasant atmosphere. Customer complaints were frequent due to slow service and incorrect orders, adding to the already high-pressure environment. Overall, my time at Burger King has been a disheartening ordeal, and I would not recommend it as a place of employment to anyone seeking job satisfaction or fair treatment.

Loved working here. Great environment, staff was very friendly and I learned a lot during my time here. Busy work days but great if wanting to work a lot of hours.

It's what you expect

The job demanded long hours on my feet, often in a hectic and stressful environment. Dealing with demanding customers and managing multiple tasks simultaneously could be overwhelming. The pay was inadequate for the work, the benefits were minimal, and advancement opportunities seemed limited. Despite efforts to maintain a positive attitude, the repetitive nature of the job left me feeling unfulfilled.

Fun place to work

It was a good job, and It was a fun place to work. I worked with nice people and the managers were nice. The training was good. Overall it was a pretty good job

It was a fun enviroment

It would get very busy because the location was in food court but at certain times it was very slow, when its busy the time goes by very fast but theres really not much to do when its slow.

Ok part time job for students

Somewhat flexible hours - but had to find someone to cover your shifts if you had a last minute appointment or something else planned. Pays a bit over minimum wage. Training offered and usually quickly over a 2 week period. They’re not so strict on uniforms anymore thankfully so could wear comfortable black shoes and black pants with the BK logo t-shirt. Not as stressful as McDonald’s (worked both) but safety on workplace training not as serious IMO.

Terrible

Fast food isn't the greatest area to work in. Burger King is pretty standard. Take the orders, make the food, bag the food, and clean when you have spare time. Management wasn't great. I felt like I was picked on a lot.

The people are nice. The rest are ok. The people working there are good to be around, while the problem lies on how busy it could get while having almost no staff.

Not the best atmosphere, even worse management

Supervisor would make you do everything while they went on their phones or didn’t feel like it. Customers really make or break the mood of the shiftWould work with your schedule then go back to whatever they wanted a week later.Night shifts are always the best though!

Amazing food

I love the Roadhouse burger, especially when it comes with several options. That is the meal they provide for the staff, which is fairly fair compared to other fast food chains.

Great first job

Fast paced job, flexible shifts, supervisors are hit and miss. Pay is decent, for what the job requires. Company offers training and moving up within the company is there if you want it. Great first job!

Everyone is very nice, they tend to help you with everything, so that you won’t struggle, although, the place is very dirty, homeless people tend to make ur life harder.

Working as a cashier at Burger King has genuinely been a transformative experience for me. From day one, the bustling environment and vibrant team atmosphere made me feel both welcomed and challenged. The job taught me the importance of customer service, multitasking, and teamwork. The thrill of managing busy hours, interacting with a diverse set of customers, and learning the intricacies of the register has significantly bolstered my confidence and interpersonal skills. The management has always been supportive, providing ample training and being responsive to any concerns. I loved how each day brought something new, be it a promotional offer or an interesting customer story. Celebrating little successes, like getting a large order just right or receiving a compliment from a customer, became the highlights of my day. Moreover, the camaraderie with my colleagues, sharing laughs during breaks, and learning from each other's experiences have given me memories I'll cherish. Overall, Burger King didn’t just offer me a job but a valuable life experience.

Good luck working with a disrespectful management. Lack of security based on the location of the restaurant. And just generally a bad experience. Do not recommend

Fun workplace

Long hours, underpaid, and too many tasks to do. New employees always gets the closing shift and only work 3 days per week with maximum of 4 hrs per shift.

First job

I'm grateful they gave me my first work opportunity, but it just wasn't for me.You need to be comfortable with or learn to get comfortable with late nights and working in the kitchen (even if you were initially just hired as a cashier)

What is the best part of working at the company?Nothing. Everything form the manager to the supervisors to the working environment was really poor. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Being asked to do tasks clearly not a part of my job description. Being given odd hours despite prior knowledge of my school schedule. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?The one word to describe the work environment would be "toxic". I never got my paycheck on time, I still have not received my tax forums for last year. The manager is emotionally abusive and supervisors provide no help whatsoever. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Usually it was stressful. Being forced to work at a fast food job under a threat of being fired while you have a really bad fever and cold is not good. Getting shifts was a burdensome task.
