I would say this is a good job for people who are workaholics and love children. I am hired to work 8 hours a day, but average 9. I do get banked time if I am asked to stay late. However, I am rarely allowed to use my banked time.
Free lunches, bank time, 1 week vacation, benefits.
Long hours, stressful, heavy workload.

It’s too bad what is going on at Brightpath Eglinton. The supervisor hired all Indian staff why? As soon students finish their placement they are hired. This centre alone in 2019 about 15 staff or more have left and most of them were ECEs that’s too bad. Both supervisor and assistant all they do is sit in the office and laugh. There is no respect whatsoever from them both. No matter what the staff will never speak English always speaking their language that’s very rude. If you want to grow this is not the place for you. When I go to the office to speak to supervisor she will also share with the assistant and the assistant will share with the staff then everyone knows your business. The pay is very low for ECEs that’s why staff don’t stay longer. There’s lots of paper work for low pay company sad. The gossip is too much and supervisor don’t care till the point that the students also knows whats going on. Supervisor shows no emotion towards her staff at all.
