The training is useless and does not prepare you for what the job requires Lifting a 380lb fridge up 2 flights of stairs is one thing, doing it all day and suffering all the injuries is not worth it Management is far from acceptable Your treated like gold in their face but they will stab you the first chance they can

Management and work conditions
Sales Commission job at the Brick is quite stressful and creating competition between employees by managers creates lack of healthy environment to work. Chaos and misunderstanding between employees is commonly found here.
Helpful sales managers, Free Lunch
Long Hours, Less Pay, Unhealthy Stressful Working Environment, Lack of Motivation
The Brick is the best place to work. Friendly coworkers, excellent team work and a lot of opportunity to learn. Management supportive, great holiday events.

Total hours in a work week was never the same. The work week varied between 30 hours and 40 hours. Starting hours were anytime between 8 am to 3 pm. I never had 2 complete consecutive days off. Occasionally, I was called on my days off and was asked to report within the hour.
Starting salary was just a little over the minimum wage.
Disorganized work week schedule.
High Competition and commission based job.The bigger group of people you know is better. working times were good until its the tent sale.no fixed salaries but you can make as much you want sky is he limit. You make some good friends on the way.
The day started at half 7, finished at 4:30. i was a bricklayer so as setting up i would get my line ready on where i was working as the labourers would sort mortour out. and then the day consisted of just building walls. the worst part was the weather.
I can say working with diversity of companies was big opportunity to open more doors to other chance to get another job. The atmosphere was good and learning was easy as well.

Co workers usually fun and great to work with. Boys Club - If you are not on the inside you will not be considered for promotions even if experience and skills are better. Not great to people with learning disabilities like dyslexia.
Promtions based on who you know not what you know. Work/life balance.
