i enjoyed being the hostess and helping around the restaurant, but then I was moved to a server and the pay was awful and I was always put on a lunch shift, which was very slow and most servers would be sent home. The coworkers were very nice though

Not the worst place to work, definitely a great place to start off. If you are seeking a culinary career, definitely a fantastic stepping stone. Don't expect amazing wages, especially as a regular employee. Some places pay their managers a relatively good wage.

seat guests, take orders, deliver food and drinks, make sure customers were satisfied, takes payments, clear and clean tables trained new staff hardest part is when it got really busy enjoyable part is meeting new people and talking to my regular customers
