I really enjoyed working for Boston Pizza Bonnyville. The overall job was fun but still busy. The management were great and they are fantastic to work with! Fellow employees were always helpful and worked hard. The opportunity to move up is always an option. I recommend working for Boston Pizza.

Management was very one sided to a group that had worked there for a few years and never would tell them no and would not hire a km. Very un organized not having a leader in the boh management would not be professional and act like you were always wrong and make u feel that way. This was a year ago so notSure if they are still like this

Work environment is fast paced and positiveEveryone works well as a team. You will need a second job if you decide to work here and expect to make enough for cost of living as it's minimum wage unless your management. Most of the kitchen are young adults as it's not a lifetime career just a job for students and college kids..

Great place to work! Training is very efficient and effective. They help you advance to other positions if you are interested. I would highly recommend working at Boston Pizza.

Get to meet new people everyday and build relationships. A busy work environment allows my coworkers and I too keep our skills sharp. I have learned a lot while working here.

Its a. Easy going environment. Most of the time it goes smooth if everyone goes by the policy and fairly take the time to follow up along one another as a team environment. Great tips and mostly flexibility in any hrs. Management is fairly treated everyone equal. Perhaps soft on laziness.

Managment isnt great. They are uncaring about the fact that you are human. The Gm is the worst,talks low behind employees backs to other co workers. If you work in the kitchen you will not receive full time work. It's a job not a career. Raises rarely happen.The only thing that is really positive about this place can be your co-workers. They make it bearable.Although supervisors can become power hungry and bully people lower then them. They will bully you out of the kitchen if they dont like you. Happend to a very nice guy. Everything that was said in the interview was honestly just them glorifying the job and then pulling wool over your eyes.

the management at this location is immature and disrespectful, i was an employee and didn’t get in with the inside management “clique” they let me go without even giving me a chance to really get into the job. i worked extremely hard and i was proud of the service i gave to customers, i continued to be praised and that all of my tables loved me and i was doing a great job. and all of the sudden i got kicked for a reason i will not disclose but was NOT an acceptable reason to “let me go”. if one manager doesn’t like you, be prepared to not work at this location for long. the management at this location is an utter joke. beware.

Working at a Franchise location with zero management structure. You work for the staff & management are just Glorified shift leaders, the only real manager is the old franchise owner who doesn't know anything about running a business. Communication is disgusting & none of the BP culture is followed at all. Recognition for your work means nothing & getting a raise is based on how close you are with the owners son. Don't waste your time theirs better jobs out there

Fantastic company to work for, great hours, the pay is ok, and depending on the location, the staff and management are second to none. I would recommend working for a Boston Pizza if you are just starting out in any Restaurant position, from Host to Manager.

Boston Pizza was one of the best work experiences I had in a long working career.The "family" culture was evident through the relationships built and the post work gatherings.I'll recommend BP to any and everyone.

Very fast paced, stressful, almost everyone I have worked with has cried at least once because of the environment. Someone was fired a few feet away from people I was around. Can be very catty up front, very angering in the back. But when it is no longer a rush it can be like a second family. I do recommend if you work best in fast paced environments because above all, I love my boston pizza family

They aren't very picky about who they hire, which is good if you need experience. BP is a good stepping stone to get kitchen experience. Like most kitchens, they are flexible with scheduling. Decent pay, but that is mostly due to the bump from tip pool, otherwise it's a close to minimum wage job.

A good place to build customer service skills. This location could use more professionalism and organization. BP learning is a nice complimentary online training program, but is lengthy.

I first started at the Nordel location just before I graduated high school and worked there for just over three years. Management was great and I greatly enjoyed being around my coworkers on busy fast paced weekends and even on slow days, we were all one big family and it was a great time while also being professional. I had personal issues that hampered my hours and availability but my GM was extremely understanding about it. Overall BP is a good first job for someone, or a first restaurant job. All I really have to say... watch your pay checks!!!!!!! The guy who does payroll at this location tends to mess up paychecks BADLY!!!! This was one of many reasons why I quit, not to mention many other of my coworkers (who are like family) got fired for unjust reasons. The new GM is a bit much sometimes and will not help servers, and the weekend manager does not know how to properly close the bar and dining room. Honestly, I would not apply at this location or go eat there, it's becoming a mess.

Everything was organized and well structured, training was long and thorough. I can even say the management had a vast knowledge of the industry and worked as an amazing team

i assume most boston pizzas would have a good work environment but the place i worked was fast paced which is fine but we did not get breaks and your pay was subject to change without notice. you were forced to work 9+ hours on your feet with little to no time to do anything besides tend to orders. your boss will watch you on the cameras 24/7 and if caught not working you would be written up. the discount is only 50% UP TO $7 and the ever changing staff and nepotism will bring you down. there is no opportunity for advancement as the manager at this location is sexist. i do not recommend working in this location
