Get to meet new people everyday and build relationships. A busy work environment allows my coworkers and I too keep our skills sharp. I have learned a lot while working here.
Great team members at the Port Alberni location. Very productive and like-minded individuals. Fun, fast paced workdays. Every single member contributed to creating quality product and customer experience. Highly recommend.
the lonely pizza place was nice and clear and i learned now more about team workthe cleaning was hard with all the oil greeses. other wise this job place is good for first incomers
Working at a Franchise location with zero management structure. You work for the staff & management are just Glorified shift leaders, the only real manager is the old franchise owner who doesn't know anything about running a business. Communication is disgusting & none of the BP culture is followed at all. Recognition for your work means nothing & getting a raise is based on how close you are with the owners son. Don't waste your time theirs better jobs out there

I was belittled by my boss and rudely asked if I "speak english!" after asking him "what do you mean 5 minutes?" A typical day at work consists of rude comments by leadership and chaos. There is no bartender so you have to make your own drinks all while serving tables, taking over the phone orders and packing to go bills. At the Boston pizza I worked at there is no standard. You will be constantly asked " do you understand English" "are you blind" by the boss if you do something by mistake. Boston Pizza is not an ideal work place. No body cares about Health, Safety or Guest Satisfaction. The work culture is hit or miss.. some people are great but a lot of people arent going to be kind to you.

I loved working at Boston Pizza as it held a safe, fast and great work environment. I was nervous at first but working there is like working with a family of young minds just as excited as you are to be there.
Boston Pizza was one of the best work experiences I had in a long working career.The "family" culture was evident through the relationships built and the post work gatherings. I'll recommend BP to any and everyone.
management is great although there are lots of late nights which can be difficult and there is always lots of work to do. But fun people to work with and be around!

Worked full-time for 9 years Recieved 3 raises in 9 years Got sent on break twice in 9 years Not allowed to complete most cleaning because they would rather have you leave so they can save money No training but they have no problem screaming at you on your first day Incentives for servers and bartenders but NEVER for kitchen Friendship and politics over hard work and loyalty You are expected to stay past the end of your shift if it's busy, regardless of whether you have plans or appointments

Manager should be polite and have some understanding towards their worker. Not getting proper shifts at this store. Need some improvements in management but co-worker, host and all other staff is very friendly.

Probably the best place ive been hired at. Really great management and everyone was really nice and helpful. I've worked at places were customers were constantly complaining but this place was nothing like that at all, really great management and staff members were always doing their job efficiently. Sadly, the owners at the time sold and I'm not sure about the new managers but I'm sure they're great.
Meilleure endroit pour travailler, personnellement j’ai eu tellement de plaisir à travailler là-bas, oui faut être rapide et dynamique, avoir des techniques de travaille pour dépasser les temps, mais au fils du temps ces gestes se font naturellement laissant place au plaisir. J’avais une super bonne équipe ou je m’entendais bien avec tout le monde.
Je te recommande Boston pizza fortement.

The teamwork of the kitchen team is amazing. And i think it will be amazing if the FOH and HOH have great communication and collaborstion with one other and they support each other.

In general the company has a good advancement ladder, but with the non-competitive salary, it's not really worth a career pursuit. Corporate is cliquey and uninterested in the little guys.
Management is amazing. The training on food and beverages is great. Great relationships with vendors. Great pay for long hour days. One of my favourite jobs to date
Amazing place to work for. Amazing customers and staff. Felt like a family there. I would definitely recommend working for this business. Learned a lot of new things while working at Boston pizza.
Recommended that you have patience while working as a host. The most difficult part of the job is dealing with difficult customers. I enjoyed meeting new people.
La succursale de Brossard pour laquelle j’ai travaillé est très bien gérée par une personne qui connaît parfaitement son métier et qui est toujours prêt à partager ses connaissances et à aider ses employés. Ce fut un plaisir de travailler dans cet établissement.
The typical work day wasn't overly stressful and there was often a steady stream of customers. I learned a lot about the inner workings of restaurant work, and the experience was helpful in teaching teamwork and working under pressure.
