They are not family oriented, like they say they are i could never spend time with my family. I had my new born son that I barely saw, and they will start cutting hours if you say no if they call you and ask you to work, nothing is done properly and everyone will stab you in the back including Human resources and project manager, and they don't not pay any properly
Anything you could think of.
We have regular team check-ins which is great to keep everyone on the same page. If you have ideas the company and the teams are open to hear recommendations. Management is approachable and support continued growth in their team members. In construction dead lines are important, there are times when things get busy and you really need to pull together as a team to get the work completed on time.
Free food, comfortable office setting, opportunities to learn, great work life balance
Poor experience, long hours, too much travel. Very high turn over of employee's. Expected to work extra hours and defer overtime to regular hours. I would not recommend working for this company.
If you like traveling to dirty factories all over Canada

We encourage you to speak with your manager and / or your union steward about your concerns. We will happily explain any terms of employment or policies to provide clarification. Field installers typically work 8.5 hour shifts and it is not our practice to defer overtime, ever. Fair wages are paid as per the collective agreement. Travel is a requirement of the job on occasion as we perform installations from coast to coast across the Country, which is a great opportunity to see our beautiful Country on the company dime. Out of town work isn't for everyone and we respect that, but our employees are always fairly compensated for their time and hard work on all projects, local or out of town.

I am very sorry you had a bad experience working with us. Your account of expectations for additional hours and OT deferral is incorrect though. All employees are paid fairly and properly. We are up front about travel expectations in our job posts and throughout the interviewing process, and many of our employees enjoy the opportunity to travel the country! Yes, employee turnover can be high at times as it can be difficult to find hardworking team members who fit with our company culture which is based on teamwork, reliability & professionalism.
