A very toxic culture and environment

It is a very big company with a very bad management. There are no policies and there is a lot of favoritism in the company. If you report an issue there is no resolution you can even get fired. I would not recommend working for the company. The working environment because of the Team Lead is also very toxic and very unhealthy. Also, the company does not believe in performance reviews or salary increment. There are staff working with company for 5 year at the minimum wages.

Highly confidential work which typically starts at 8.00 am every morning from Monday to Friday. Customers start instantly. We process all the request for passport, immigration, travel, police clearance etc.

Forms are checked, details verfied, entered in computers and all the documents related to various client requests is accurately verified and finalised.

Lunch time though being for 1 hour I normally finish lunch in 15 minutes as there are too many customers requiring assistance and the applications are only accepted between 8.00 am to 2.00 pm only and I try to ensure that there time is not wasted by calling them next day.

After 2.00 pm the reports are compiled, back office administration work needs to be completed and dossiers are created to be sent to Regional office in Toronto.

Entire admin work is computerised all the data, documents, finances, receipts are entered in computers each application wise.

Experience with Different Applicants and Their way of Thinking

Our Day start at Morning 8.00 Sharp, Sometime Applicants are waiting for us in Que before we reach, May be they want to finish it before us and leave to their job. or may be worried to have long waiting period. But overall it depend on season.
Day pass like in minutes when their are too many applicants and sometime we are discussing news and other events when there are no applicants. Overall the day pass with some good and bad experience, good when applicant is happy as his file is complete and didn't took much time for him/her to submit his application. And bad obviously when you have to fill a form again because of little mistake YES its irritating for them to whom we request to fill the form again, But that how it work. After all if we don't do it then their visa will be rejected they loose their money and time. So understanding a situation we listen to them quietly and request them humbly that we are saving them from something. Yes this is the hardest part of job, to listen what so ever they have to say and guide them toward right thing, because sometime they are not in mood to understand. and that what I learn the most how to deal with different people.
