Jai adoré travailler au Best Western premier. Les gens sont très généreux et formelle.
Communication and teamwork are a huge part of this job. Staff was nice. The days can get very repetitive in hospitality. But overall a fun place to work. Although you do work alone most of the time, teamwork is still essential.

I learn about pools and spa But the full time guy was very lazy. But staff was nice and housekeeper very good at their jobs I like managing but if u want full time it would not happen . It not easy to shorten other guys hours . He was lazy left me doing most of work orders
Pay on time
Trouble with full time guy in maintenance. He very mess and unsafe
This job is very physically demanding, my manager was great, my head manager was not. A few of the girls I worked with would have slit your throat if they had thr chance just to better themselves. The head manager hired me at 13 dollars an hr, told me after 2 months I would move up to 14 dollars ... Ha! I got a 0.30 raise, after he promised and gave me his word. And I'm just going to say after witnessing how some of the girls clean.... staying at a hotel is my very last option..... YUCK!!!!!
This was my first time ever working in hotels and they taught me everything I needed to know about working the front desk! The one in Valemount specifically is great for seasonal work, they have a competitive winter and summer season.
Poor management, has nothing like working in a team. As a manager, should be helping your team members to do give our guest a high satisfaction. But nothing in this hotel, the manager will only push everything to their employee and run away while the hotel is very busy. Sitting in the office playing their cell clock in clock out every day. Really hope the hotel owner should see what they've done every day.
It's a good job for those who just want to go to work and do their job and go home. There isn't a ladder to climb, makes a good job to retire doing. Keep in mind the busier season is summer.
When I first started everyone was so nice then I got to know them and my opinion changed I got the feeling that they all feel better than you. The managers have their favorites and it shows. Ever since the new GM took the role of GM I had never felt more like a number in my life. IF you want to work in a place that does not care about you please send your resume in now. but I have never felt so negative about a place and the people in it
My experience at Best western was amazing, I got to witness the beautiful job culture of what goes on in a hotel behind the scenes and realize what we take for granted. The work there is so tiring and I really appreciate those who work in hotels even more .
If you are looking for something where you talk to people everyday, this is the place for you. You get to know most guest that stay weekly. Management is not good, stay one thing then do another thing. Will lie right to your face.
it was a good place to work, we had lots of fun, the coworkers are very friendly, and helpful. the manager was nice to employees. but the salary is low.
They believed in micro management after new owners took over. While I was working there they put my position of front desk clerk on indeed for more hours and more pay. They expect you to take Western university courses and don’t give a raise for competition. Very stressful job and will never do front desk at any hotel again!
