I love working at this place, they are very cooperative, and motivating. The culture is diverse and they provide high standards of cleanliness to the guests. Just have to work in fast paced environment. Most interesting part is working in teams.
Discount on lunch, flexibility with shifts
Extremely fast paced environment
Fast paced on certain days, pay could be better in Quebec. Family friendly, fair prices, amazing work ethic. Definitely miss working at this company as a receptionist.
Get to see and know other cultures that walk through their doors everyday. Very happy environment.
Pay should be higher for bilingual workers.
Worked for hospitality for several years its a stressful job when you love it’s fun time flies when it busy. If you got some good attitude people it fun to work ..
If you know the job it easy to rock n roll

I liked working here but I guess I could not keep up and like I said there where maybe 3 manager that where nice one was not nice and one was awesome
Nicepeoplefor the most part vacation pay
Long hours for littlepay and well it was like being in highschool with the gossipthat goes on there
Overall it's a fun place to work, it keeps you busy until the time you leave. The opportunity to work alone is another aspect. If you like people this is the place to be.

Communication and teamwork are a huge part of this job. Staff was nice. The days can get very repetitive in hospitality. But overall a fun place to work. Although you do work alone most of the time, teamwork is still essential.
This was my first time ever working in hotels and they taught me everything I needed to know about working the front desk! The one in Valemount specifically is great for seasonal work, they have a competitive winter and summer season.
My experience at Best western was amazing, I got to witness the beautiful job culture of what goes on in a hotel behind the scenes and realize what we take for granted. The work there is so tiring and I really appreciate those who work in hotels even more .
it was a good place to work, we had lots of fun, the coworkers are very friendly, and helpful. the manager was nice to employees. but the salary is low.
After the sale of the hotel the culture, respect in the workplace and following safety, overall customer service and labor codes took a backseat to the business
divisive and disrespectful leadership
Very seasonal in terms of how busy it is. Summers can be crazy with overwhelming work. Winters you can sometimes see one guest an hour. Management is great, they do their job. The effect of being in a 3 star environment definitely shows, but they are very family friendly and relaxed. Hardest part can be the lack of support in the evenings, you need to really step up to still provide that wow experience. The most enjoyable part is the location. A tourist location right by the beach, just an overall great place to be.
The job is super fun if you are a people person. I got to meet and talk to a lot of nice guests from all ages and backgrounds. The management and staff are very friendly, helpful and work around your schedule.
