I just loved working with everyone at Best Western Hotels the staff were friendly and helpful 👍 best experience.. management is easy to work with .
The work is very physically demanding and you are often required to do way more than is possible for your shift; the pay is insulting for the amount of work you do. Very little training and the hotel manager was really awful; a very arrogant man who tried to intimidate people. The way employees were treated by management was unacceptable at times.I was fired after I had a panic attack and had to leave early; they claimed it was that my quality of work wasn't good enough, but I had never heard that until the incident with having to leave early for a legitimate mental health crisis.

The time constraint of 15 minutes per room on cleaning for housekeeping and minute by minute tracking set an unrealistic and gruelling pace and I was often dissatisfied with my work because I was rushed. Further, unclear and conflicting schedules which we received on a weekly basis, often the day before the week was over, left me unable to plan a social life outside of work. Management made little to no effort to correct these oversights or improve policies to make the environment better, but my coworkers did their best to help each other when possible.

When I was there management aweful as soon as they saw you might get your rooms list done early even just half an hour before clock out boom 4 more room you have to clean cus they already booked customers in those dirty rooms(btw this is in 2020 covid year). Love to overwork there housekeeper till they quit and high i mean HIGH staff turn over rate. They love to work you 6 days a week 8 hours a day and they're so shorty on Housekeeping that you'll probably be called in on one of your 2 days off which are also spread apart through out the week.

I love working at this place, they are very cooperative, and motivating.The culture is diverse and they provide high standards of cleanliness to the guests. Just have to work in fast paced environment. Most interesting part is working in teams.

Very good place to work. Everyone is kind and polite to one another. There is always help available if needed. Good benefits and hours available. Enjoyable work environment.
Overall it's a fun place to work, it keeps you busy until the time you leave. The opportunity to work alone is another aspect. If you like people this is the place to be.
all Staffs and management team are friendly, work schedule is sometimes not fair enough, has a good and clean facilities, breakfast is free but a certain time to consider

I enjoyed working with the people and the customers. The end of the day can be tiring but the pay isn’t bad. So yes I’d recommend to my friends or others.
Nice place to work and great women to work with. Like working there and will continue working when Ontario opens up. Great management, fair and willing to work with you.
Very unprofessional housekeeping manager. Other housekeepers would gossip and take their time on rooms so that others would have to pick up their work. Could never plan for a day off since you were called in every day, then manager would get angry when you couldn’t come in. Workload unfair as some girls would have 3x the rooms of other girls. Don’t suggest working here at all.
Good place. Friendly staff, free breakfast, wonderful environment. Very busy during the summer and you get a lot of hours to work. Good benefits too, employer care about their staff welfare.

When you needed help another employee was always there to help you out.
This job is very physically demanding, my manager was great, my head manager was not. A few of the girls I worked with would have slit your throat if they had thr chance just to better themselves. The head manager hired me at 13 dollars an hr, told me after 2 months I would move up to 14 dollars ... Ha! I got a 0.30 raise, after he promised and gave me his word. And I'm just going to say after witnessing how some of the girls clean.... staying at a hotel is my very last option..... YUCK!!!!!
It was my first job, very friendly. Not pressured. I woke up around 7:30 AM - Arrived at 8- 8:15. Working a 8-9 hour shift for 5 days. I was trained as a housekeeper/ house cleaner.
It's a good job for those who just want to go to work and do their job and go home. There isn't a ladder to climb, makes a good job to retire doing. Keep in mind the busier season is summer.
it was a good place to work, we had lots of fun, the coworkers are very friendly, and helpful. the manager was nice to employees. but the salary is low.
It was okay . The people I worked with were amazing. But they fail to tell you if you are no longer working there , they just cut you off the schedule.
I have worked at the Best Western Hotel for about 10 years and would say they are super inclusive and supportive of their staff. The hotel staff in general are easy going, friendly and great to work with.
I liked housekeeping, friendly guests. Very fast paced work & very easy to learn. Never had any complaints from guests for any of my rooms.
