The manager is awful. She does not know how to manage a business or people. She expects her workers to go above and beyond, but does not compensate them. The turnover rate is so high because she doesn't know how to talk to her employees. Every single front desk agent that works right now is looking for a new job, even the new people. She is cheap; sometimes there is literally only one person working in the entire hotel, which is not only unsafe, but very inefficient. Front desk agents have to do dishes, laundry, maintenance, etc. Basically anything she needs done, but doesn't want to pay someone to do
I am a neat and organized person, so working with this situation gets me hyped up and makes me want to do more. Although, I am not very flexible with lifting heavy appliances, I still get along fine. The hardest part of the job is when I get yelled at by my manager of missing a part of my job. Overall, I still enjoyed working here because the guests that stayed with the hotel are very nice and understanding.
