Company allowed me to diversify my work into different aspects of the hotel. Learning laundry, some room checking, sewing for the hotel, developing hotel program to be proactive against Bed Bug after 14+ years work at the hotel was hard to leave but was a personal move I had to make.
hotel incentives : use of facilities on off season
not enough hours in a day to accomplish all I had to do.
Worked there for about a year, management staff were great people but weren't given enough power to keep poor employees from not doing their jobs, my supervisor was the nicest person and helped me out a lot, and my manager was an incredibly reliable individual who was always willing to fix your schedule. My schedule was as solid as a rock, only having to work an extra day if it fell on a holiday, and only then if I chose to work to get time and a half. Unfortunately the owners decided to close the laundry division which increased my workload and a few of my co-workers weren't the greatest or most reliable people. I ended up leaving feeling somewhat bitter, but I'm glad for the experience.
Your schedule is very solid, but flexible if you need a day off
Not the friendliest people to work with, other than the managers/supervisors.
Work start at 8:30 in the morning till 4:30 in the afternoon. The supervisors are friendly and understanding. There are times that it is so busy that the there is not enough time to finished all the work.
Free lunch every first Friday
lack of some equipment

Physically demanding and time management is a must. Co-workers are wonderful and feel very much like family. The down fall is that it is seasonal and has very little room for advancement. There is a wide range of clients and is a wonderful way to meet new people that visit the hotel from all around the world.
My typical day at work consists of filing, data entry, and on the phones. Every day, guests are calling in asking information as their plan their trip to Niagara Falls. Consistency and professionalism are important, along with customer service. Whether you are not feeling well, or you're at your best, you have to be on your toes.
Mostly cx service based, very busy. Help customers, cash, freight. Keep the shop clean and free of clutter. My supervisor was awesome and my co-workers were fun to work with. I don't think any part of this job was stressful. The shop was on Fallsview blvd. My customers were tourists. It was interesting to see people from all over the world and try to interact with them even if some were language barriers. I speak french so it was fun.
Meeting interesting people
Having these people leave. Some were really nice people.
it was a good job can say any thing bad about only that it was a seasonal job.wish it could have lasted long then just for the summer.
