Worked for hospitality for several years its a stressful job when you love it’s fun time flies when it busy. If you got some good attitude people it fun to work ..
If you know the job it easy to rock n roll
There is nothing positive about this company. Do no t waste your time with them. Everything HAS tocbe micromanaged by the general manager. These people does not underetand how much attention the food and beverage department needs. They need miracles to bring this hotel up from the ground. If you are smart you will stsy away from this property.
Safety is a joke here as upper management is not certified to work in compliance of provincial rules and regulations. When items are worked on they should be brought up to today's standards. These items are supposed to be inspected by city inspectors and signed off on.

Lots of great people who work there. Easy to get along with. Lots of opportunities to advance in your career. Definetly a place i would suggest working at.
I enjoyed working for Best Western The Manager was Awesome however the Housekeeping Supervisors were all of East Indian Culture and the hiring was not of mixed culture which made it hard to be a team player I believe a mix of culture employee's is very important to work as team players .
Not mixed race only one race
Being a Sous Chef I learn here is ensuring that kitchen operates in a timely way establish working schedule keeping control over the labor. Doing inventory-managing purchasing and storage with financial tracking. resourcefully solve any issue that arise seize control of any problematic situation etc, work place is fantastic and pleasure. we are short of staff some time when you got back to back big function but I always take as a challenge and done it .
most of the thing in hotel is good
bit of long driving
This was just a practicum hours job that I had to do for school. there was no pay. while there I learned housekeeping worked in the hotel and the front desk. Need to work on culture in the work place.
Not getting paid for the hours i did
was good place to start work and good to help teach what it's about. I enjoyed working there because it payed good money for flexable hours for a student
free meals, disscounts
Long hours and nothing to always do
Then Best Western Village Park Inn is restrictive, they use the camera's in the building not for guest safety, but to spy on employees and give warning letters which they use to fire you when convenient for them
Co workers are the best
Advancement doesn't exist
The staff is what makes this the best place to work for. I love best western innsiders rewards which is a great perk for working for them, they have awesome promotions so it makes it easier to sign people up. Love serving customers.
Working in the evenings and weekends always, gets tiring after awhile, clashes with relationship
This is a great place to work at. The senior management is very supportive, knowledgeable and keeps us motivated. Work culture is great and professional. I get to interact with several guests daily from all over the world who stay at this hotel. GIves me an opportunity to inform about our amazing city and the places to visit and events happening in and around the city.
