Milieu de travail très actif et cadre de travail très serré presque militaire mais grande possibilité carrière interaction avec la direction immédiate relativement rigide et contrôlante mais négociable.Malheureusement très peu de place à l'initiative et système de formation anémique. Il faut faire son chemin et avoir du caractère.

A lot of employees are there 15+ years. It's a very silo work environment. Your expertise and skills mean less than position level. It's an environment full of politics and power struggling. People don't like to share and like to protect their jobs. There is no objective employee evaluation. As my manager said, the evaluation is based on his impression. The benefits, however, are great.

It is a performance based position. You must meet your weekly sales targets and work in the assigned territory. You will have plenty of support from your team and supervisor.

Product Zone is where careers go to die. Stay away.

Have an opinion/idea on bettering a process? Keep it to yourself or be ready to take loads of Tylenol to treat migraines.


As for staff - most are nice although be forewarned that there are absolute SNAKES that work for this team. They will throw you under the bus at every possible chance all in the name of making themselves look good.


There are better teams and positions at Bell. Stay away from Product Zone!

Work load is never consistent, work from home is refused despite being a telecom in 2020 with all tools necessary, managers are ridiculous when it comes micromanaging, bathroom usage is scrutinized, management also track everything from workflow to emails you sent years ago

stressful work environment no advancement mass divide between management levels, Safety and security in hands of yourself, time management is impossible, employer makes it very difficult to enjoy work day

Started working for Bell Aliant 8 years ago and it was a gerat place to work... Bell has since taken over and completly turned the position upside down. Their goal seem to be to continuously make your job harder. Also seeing supervisors try to assert authority when we would only see him for inspections every 6 months.

I was hired as a customer service rep when I started at Bell. The customer service training was fantastic and I have taken those skills on to other positions. It was later merged with the sales dept. That's when things went downhill. Sales took presidence over service. Quotas had to be reached or you were fired. It didn't matter what the customer wanted.

Bell is a Productive and fun company to work at. I work in the IoT department on smart cities. Work hours are very flexible and there is a lot to learn for me on a day to day basis.

Gained a lot of experience working for Bell Canada. Lots of opportunity for movement within the company. Wonderful managers, colleagues, friendships. Excellent wages and benefits. Enjoyed my time working there.

Commuting from West Island was hard after 10+ years decided to walk away from Bell. I survived many layoffs. Everything is moving towards Nuns Island in Mtl. You have to live close by commuting is almost impossible. Performance review once a year. Bonus available.

A lot of my colleagues ended up on mental leave or with counselling. A lot of them (myself included) quit due to pressure and stress. They passive agressively intimidate you by putting you on "improvement" programs, which are basically punitive programs with threat of termination left and right and they congratulate you for being on this program as if they are doing you a favour. And you can't complain to anyone because you won't have any proof. What are you going to say in your complaint? "the company has put me on improvement program?" You will be laughed out. But only you and BELL knows what's really going on in that "improvement" program.
All in all, mental torture for a slightly , SLIGHTLY, more than a minimum wage job.

Don't recommend this company to anyone,

BY THE WAY, the reason they have this "LET'S TALK" mental awareness program each year, is because ONE OF THEIR EMPLOYEES KILLED THEMSELVES.
