working at bts is fun and there is a lot of freedom with the job but the micro management and extensive hours can make working at bts a pain sometimes

Flexible working hours as a field sales representative. Hard to sell internet when Rogers offer more competitive pricing that confuses customers.
The door to door selling is the hardest of all. If you master that you are well off to do better things in Sales.

The environment was good, the people were nice to be around. The trainers you have are very understanding and are very fair. The job isn't too difficult and is good for people who prefer to work independently and have confidence in their own ability to preform certain tasks, all of which they will be trained upon.

Over all Bell was a great place to learn the trade if a field technician. The tools and gadgets that they provide were truly outstanding and very useful. An excellent mix of both technical work and customer service experience.

lots of pressure by managers to complete job even if its not in your hand.

Salary is not good according to work. Lots of traveling form one city to another city in your shift. Winter time its very hard to work outside after 7pm due to dark.but this company force you to work and some shift are 5pm to 9pm only. Some guys are working only 2 days Saturday and Sunday in a week but you should available for whole week. They can force you any day. Hard part is when managers force techs to work just because they are getting good intensive in end of year. Union is just eating your money they don't do any thing for you.

I worked for Bell for a long time. The people and the company were wonderful but eventually I needed a change. I would recommend this company to a friend. The company culture was great, I enjoyed the people I worked with and the work I was doing, it was just time for a change in my life.

Everyday you come in to work at a dispatching "shop" where you pick up your vehicle and dispatch on one of your many install/repair jobs.
Management are nice and friendly until your numbers are not meeting the criteria. You get paid hourly and you start low benefits are lucrative and substantial. Worst part of the job is climbing poles in the winter time which only often in pole designated cities places and neighbourhoods. Best part is the independency of your load and your appointed vehicle.
