Stressfull all the timeLe peu de temps que j'ai passe me laisse croire qu'il faut beaucoup de rigueur pour travailler en tant que tel, vu que c'est a partir de vos rendements que vous assurez votre poste. la competition qui regne etant tres forte, on doit s'adonner entierement pour faire ses preuves.La partie la plus dure, c'est de travailler une journee sans avoir fait aucune vente.

You are a number to a major corporation. If you cannot get it done they will find someone who can. The work is hard and always at heights. Take years to progress through seniority because of the size of the company. But the pay is okay

Pretty fun place but gets boring

it's fun when its busy, but as soon as you hit the slow season and there's no customers, its brutal, you get in trouble for not hitting targets and you're not making any commission so you can barely live. there's very little room for raises and advancements. but when you're in the Christmas season you can make a couple thousand in commission. for the most part management is great at all the stores i worked at, no complaints there.

Good if work work from home

Mixed work in this department sometimes busy and sometimes slow. Your Team leader makes difference earlier team leader was good but at Waterloo location team leader sucks they pin point small things. Once you are given yellow card you get high chances of receiving red card soon you are under their radar after doing mistake. No point in part of union they will not stand for you.

Poor management and pay

High expectations and stress for low pay. Extremely high prices result in less customers and staff are blamed. Weird rules such as they can change your shift within 24 hour.

Knowing that people were being laid off every day makes for a stressful work environment

Working for a company taken over by Bell there was a dramatic shift in culture. It was difficult to understand how Bell measured success. Previously I had managed projects where the measure of success was that the stated goals had been met and implemented to the satisfaction of the clients.

Great when bus. unit was smaller

Constant shuffling of senior leadership. Typical of this unit. Fun when working in a smaller business unit. A lot of acquiring and divesting of 3rd parties.

Really depends on your team

Depending on the store location, it is very different. It is a small team and you have to compete to get sales. High sale target, not only for phone but also home service, insurance, accessories, tablet/watch. Salary varies depending on the location as well because it is all about that commission. If you can’t sell, its not worth it. Favouritism is there from the regional manager as well. If he/she likes someone else, they are going to be the next manager no matter your numbers or how hard you try.

Lots of upside. Never a dull moment. Everyone was allowed to say their ideas. People could work bybthemselves or in a group, whichever was better for yourself.

Sales rep at Bell is a great job!

I love the team I worked with.The job is relaxed but simultaneously stays interesting.The hourly pay is bad but the comission helps a lot.I would recommend this job to anyone

do not work for bell if you are a good person, a strong worker, or a free thinker. you will be taken advantage of, chewed up and spit out.after 10 years of service, and still treated as yesterday's garbage. not inclusive unless its the fad of the month. #bellletstalk about that....

Great place to work

I really enjoyed my time at Bell as a Sales Consultant! I would love to work at the company again if given the opportunity, However, I do feel that they were not able to help me with my mental health at the time even though they are advocates of mental health support. They asked me to resign, when I needed 3 weeks off. Other than that, I would love to work for Bell again

Our team is a great team of team work and respect.Our bosses are great guys, they respect us and appreciate the hard work the team does.Volume of work is gigantic

great, company just needs to learn more appreciation

Company doesn’t appreciate hard work from employees and makes it hard to have a work/life balance. I appreciate my time there but not paid enough for the time you put in.

Horrible

Management is just sales driven money hungry horrible training unclear instructions so much pressure for no reason so much miscommunication and vague training schedule is horrible and tools often crash

Where dreams go to fade

Avoid this company: They do not care if you are new, they do not care if you have mental difficulty from life problems (like they advertise ironically). This might sound like a disgruntled employee but I was the most educated in a room, first in and last out but was not given the support I needed when a family member was sick. Cubicle work with no connection: Do anything else.

Door to door salesperson

Great group of people but a lot of travelling. The pay is amazing, however the hours and time away from home gets to you. Great for a single person. Got promotion to assistant field manager.

Bell is a good company to work for

Salaries are generally mediocre but benefits are definitely higher than average. Bell is a good stepping stone, especially in Canada; honestly, the reputation crosses borders. The environment is very calm and stress-free.
