Contracted employees are not apart of the union. If hired by the company then you are subjected to be apart of the union.

When hired your put on probation until you complete 400 hours of work at that time they'll take your off probation or extend it

I was part of the union from the start until Progistix took over. Progistix is not unionized.

Not that I am aware of. If you are contract you are not Union and offered little protection.
