You will have some assistant managers who will do their best to help you, but higher than them I would not bank on any support or endorsement for advancement. There is a level bureaucracy involved when it comes to advancement so if someone from upper management happens to like you then great, if not then I wouldn't hold my breath. Anything respectable, If you are working at the call centre the dress code is quite casual so they honestly don't take it into heavy consideration. If you are working in a customer facing environment such as their insurance offices around BC then Business casual.
