Management was unprofessional and lacked respect for employers. Place that offers no growth for employees and no benefits. Not a fun place to work at all.

Major Management problems but the kitchen staff was friendly and we acted like a team.
Owner harassed workers in the workplace.
Job rules and regulations were never clear.

I loved working at bar b barn. Great atmosphere. Great people.
I would take orders to go and pack them. Have to seat customers. Help the waitresses with their tables.

I would greet the customers, present the menu, make suggestions and answer questions about the food and beverages, apply sales techniques to promote items on the menu, maintain the dining room menus, take phone reservations, assist wait staff (i.e. serving plates, filling water glasses, assist with clearing and setting up tables), demonstrate a professional appearance and ensure work area is always tidy and execute all other tasks as requested with participants and citizens.

I learned a lot about the restaurant environment and how it works and how to manage many different things at the same time. The hardest part was trying to remember 10 different things at once and rushing to get things done without messing up . The most enjoyable was greeting new people and making them feel comfortable. My co-workers were nice and the management was not organized or friendly whatsoever. They didn't respect my availability hours, and I was always getting off really early and being called in last minute often.

Fast paced environment, everyone works in a team.

When I come in to work in the evening everything is ready for the rush to hit. The daytime crew takes care of the night time crew. The waiters are friendly and patient. Management is always concerned for our well-being. The most difficult aspect is the incredible heat in the kitchen at times. The part I enjoy most about work is the fun environment we create to work in.
