work work work.......not really!
A typical day at work begins with setting the restaurant up for the day......chairs down, tables wiped etc. I have learned to delegate more, creating more of a "team" environment as everyone pitches in to help each other. The BHC team offers lots of support whether a technical issue should arise, as well, with staffing. Again, the "team" aspect comes to mind. The staff at our venue live and breathe our philosophy of "work hard, play hard". The hardest part of my job is being on call for after hours emergencies, ie: alarm goes off during the night.....maintenance issues while I'm not on premise. The best part is watching my staff grow, whether its getting stronger at their current position or taking on a larger role either within our venue or moving on to another.
