The company vision is great but due to rapid growth, communication among departments and management is lacking. Backwoods has the potential to be a top shelf indigenous owned company. A great group of people to work with.
70% Indigenous owned. Proactive and engaging management team. Lots of work opportunities if you are willing to accept them. Excellent safety culture. Excellent and friendly attitude amongst entire team
I started with this company as a "maintenance/yard manager" and I use that term loosely. I started out building a fence and they work with the lanlord which is murphy oil. The manager of that company is very mentally unstable. Backwoods is VERY unorganized and I pretty much offered them everything they needed but they failed to take advantage of it. They cannot even tell you when an oil change was done last. Probably one of THE WORST companys I have every started with and feel much better now that I am gone.
unorganized, low wage, no benefits, they work with the crazy landlord
