Our Founder's Story
At AIM Children's Charity, we value growth and development for clients, families, and staff alike. Through our professional development workshops and frequent supervision hours, we provide regular opportunities for staff to learn, practice, and hone new skills. Skills based training and support is provided for staff during our on-boarding process and throughout their careers at AIM. Placement Students, RBT, BCaBA, and BCBA supervision hours can also be provided, subject to supervisor availability.
AIM Cares for Healthcare
The safety and overall health of all clients and staff are of paramount importance at AIM. We believe that healthy minds and bodies are the most receptive to learning and growing. Therefore, we have taken the following initiatives to support our staff's overall health and well-being: - Vision, dental, and extended health benefits - Workshops promoting self-care for care providers - Ongoing staff supervision and support - Team building activities to promote a healthy work culture - Formation of the Joint Health and Safety Committee to review and promote issues in safe work environments - Formation of the Pandemic Response Team to review issues related to Covid-19 pandemic
