I have been working for this Company for more than 12 years. 4 years in Canada. I recommend this company for all of the engineers and technicians. in sales and Service department. and in each group: Tools and Assembly, Mining and Compressor.
Great company before they changed to Epiroc. Lost alot of great people and the company culture shifted. A company that once felt like family became far less about the employees and more about dollars and cents.
I worked with contracts and service, however got called into some project from the product side in the States as there was no one here that was willing to help them. I had no knowledge of the equipment that was sold to the city of Calgary but was put in as a middle man. As CTS Manager in the southern region I earned some GREAT commissions but found out later that some of them were hidden and not received. My fault as I didn't look into them until someone at the yearly convention opened up that can of worms for all the sales guys. Territory was changed mid contract as to make my budget look bad. GREAT service guys while I was there.
Sales manager was in Montreal and quit 2 weeks after I started
I had a long career with Atlas Copco. They are an equal opportunity employer with many training programs to enable you to grow and take on new roles. They are an international company with the option to travel and to move to other countries.
Opportunity to learn - 40 hours a year of paid learning
Developed a global commodity strategies and plans; organized a cross-functional team to implement the plan; Set a cost savings objective and target Initiated multiple strategic sourcing projects in business units Organized negotiations with key strategic supplier in different categories and maintained key contracts
Truly a world class organization. Take excellent care of employees. Plenty of opportunity for growth and development through training and hands on experience. Highly recommended. Management was very supportive.
Large company with tremendous potential. Employees were not treated with same respect across Divisions. Employees encouraged to come forth with issues such as bullying, once the employee came forth they would get fired. Management was did not reprimand the Manager who was responsible.
Always dealing with customers. Taking care of the operation and office of the store. Meeting deadlines of our company. Going to business meetings and presenting finacial's etc... to President of company.
Flexible hours travelled around the world learnt about operational problems management was supportive workplace culture was positive and energized Lack of communication meeting new people and being allowed to be self directed
