Burnout - Lack of pay increases - Uncertainty in job security.

Completely depends on what branch you end up in as the advisors really drive the work culture and pay of their staff. Regardless of the location though you will be expected to work more than what you're paid for. The burnout at places like this is insanely high, I saw numerous people come and go both in branches and in the head office support team due to lack of pay increases after being given more responsibilities. In my role I had people come to me to express concerns and explain what they were struggling with. The advisors at my location simply did not care when so there was little to nothing I could do to help and in turn people left.

I worked for one of Assante's branches for a short period of time but I enjoyed every minute of it. The team is so kind and willing to help when you need a hand. I learned a great deal with the extensive training and the environment was awesome. Most importantly they treat you as an equal with the upmost respect.

In the 11+ years I have worked here, I have not only enjoyed a great work relationship with all my colleagues but have also developed friendships in these years. I have always felt support through personal losses and challenges outside of work. The environment here is warm and personable and the work challenging at times, as technology is always changing.

Corrosive environment. Not all areas were like that for sure, but my area was for sure. If you don’t have friends in certain places, no chance to advance. All about your friends. Backstabbing was the order of the day
