Salaire minimum et beaucoup de pression est de mise pour atteindre la comission. Comission quand même difficile a aller chercher.
I would not recommend the Vaughan Mills location. A typical day is trying to make your goal but it's hard since that location isn't making money and then get in trouble for doing your best. The management is not the greatest, they are not reasonable, they don't accommodate to the days you want off. Gossip a lot. Boring job. Stay away!!!
I was top in sales but my manager was terrible. She did not know how to handle her own employees and was a very bad manager and she did not even train people properly but expected perfection they also constantly change the prices and they’re not fixed without telling us. She was also racist has she favoured Indian people over anyone else.
Typical day at Armani Exchange was relaxed, but competitive with sales.
Merchandising was to be done before open and maintained throughout the day. Management was collaborative and firm. Workplace culture was professional and efficient . The hardest part of the job was making sure customers felt good about thier experience as well as thier purchase from Armani Exchange. Each customer has different needs. I enjoyed the competitive environment that pushed me to be better at my role.
Everyone quits after a few months because the management is terriable. They dont value you, they make no sales because management overprice items, book off days months advance but dont give it. Store manager always forgets their responsibility. Worst AX location but a good company to work for.
I worked for Armani Exchange for over 3 years. part time and full time
Great company great interest when it comes to fashion
Weird politics when it comes to moving up and try to be some one in the company..
Not the best team of managers , favoritism
This company is one of the best corp. I have worked for. Amazing upper management, support and invested in their teams. Superiors recognize the efforts and successes of their managers in their store and promote fairly often within. You receive what you invest in the company.
over all experience:
- amazing work life balance. they will never let you work to the point where you are burnt out. they also want you to have a life.
- great management. They are more than willing to work with you on improvement and review daily goals prior to every shift.
- perks are really great.
- If you work hard enough, you will be given more than enough hours.
The only con is no room for advancement and a small amount of favoritism happens when it comes to providing the team with hours.
Worked here for a very short period of time and became very ill during the holiday season. Management didn't care that I was hospitalized. Basically when I called in that day I was hung up on because I was in the hospital management didn't care and ended up terminating me with no written letter or reason.
Greeted customers at the door and assisted with purchases
• Answered customer questions and advised shoppers about sales
• Created attractive displays highlighting seasonal inventory
• Identified customer needs and upsold to higher value products as often as possible
• Maintained a regular customer base and actively worked to develop lucra tive new customer relationships
Good experience to get into the field. But upper management was always pressurizing. NO COMISSION so sales associates only made basic salary. They asked for perfection always. NO weekend off for managers unless asked. There was no rotation or sytem installed so every manager could get at least one weekend off once a month. FREE UNIFORMS. GOOD INSURANCE AFTER 3 MONTHS. Don't stay.
