Independent Sales representative is the job title at Arbonne. Everyone basically works for themselves. The more work you put in, the more money you will make. If you are sociable and are motivated to work Independently then this job is for you.
A place where you can set your own hours, around your own family and life obligations, and choose your wage based on your efforts. It is all done online and there is no overhead or inventory costs. The culture is unlike any other - positive, supportive, and a community that really does want their team and clients to flourish.
Doing this is very difficult and time consuming. It's very competitive and you have to commit to it every single to day to get somewhere with this company. The sales and discounts as an IC are amazing, however it's very expensive. I would not call it a pyramid scheme as others may, however you have to work hard and gain that recurring clientele to get ahead and actually achieve goals with Arbonne.
I became an Independent Consultant with Arbonne since a bunch of my friends had been posting them on insta, I asked about it, and they said we should "hang out" but ended up being a presentation about Arbonne, and I clearly did NOT agree to this but it's fine, it was cute and I got to see my friends, I thought after that, it would be over, but nope, there were more, they made me talk to the district manager and they basically push you to join them and you pay so much to join them and sell their products which I find it's stupid! They said that the products will sell itself and all I got to do is post on social media talking about the products, but it's not that sime, it feels forced when you sell it to people and it's not worth the time!
If you're successful, you could make a lot but that's 1 out of million chances
Waste of time, products did not work, lose money, overall horrible
The most amazing products, the best community, the opportunity works when you work it. I've never used cleaner, more effective products. The type of people Arbonne attracts are phenomenal - generous, kind-hearted, always wanting to grow. There is so much opportunity to succeed in this business! It's up to your individual effort and enthusiasm!
Whether or not you agree as to if its a pyramid scheme, it is an interesting business. Only participated for a little while but with school and other work it fell off my radar. If you are good are it you can become REALLY successful but it is a lot of work and a little bit of luck. You also have to be pretty pushy with it which is something that made me uncomfortable. Not for me but my friend has been very active in it for 3 years and loves it so very dependent on ones personality. All that aside, the products really are amazing and even though I am not actively selling them anymore, I still buy some staples products because of the quality.
This career allowed me to raise my two girls while also pursuing a challenging fulfilling career. I grew myself personally and truly learned the skills of being self motivated and self driven.
