Avis d'employé sur Amica Senior Lifestyles
Fun workplace, sometimes stressful
I learned valuable customer service skills, particularly with the elderly which is a valuable skill because the elderly have many special and specific needs which need to be remembered and cared for.

I looked forward to this job and was disappointed when I found out the dining room was a joke, nothing but middle aged, micro managing gossipy women and a few younger girls with cell phones attached to their heads Virtually no clue how to deal with an aging clientele. Talked to them as if they were children and just barged into their rooms without knocking when doing meal service. Thank you to the 3 decent people, though ,with whom I worked. And praise for the steps in protecting all who entered there with strict covid 19 procedures
This job is very fast-paced and one needs to be able to learn quickly because there is a lot to remember including fine dining set-up, chit sheets, serving, etc.
I worked night shifts only so I cannot to describe whole work there. I believe that team and management are strong there. Most of PSW team has worked there for a long time which is a good sign.
Good team, fair management
Stressful job, low salary
