Si les patrons situé aux États Unis prenait le temps de voir au niveau de la direction pourquoi il y a autant de changement aux niveaux des employés la compagnie même à de très belles valeurs mais ceux qui gère à leurs façon et non selon les standards demande par la maison mère font en sorte que c est tout croche

Le vendredi

The environment is good, the supervisor is friendly.The salary is interesting.The cafeteria also really cool, you can sit wherever you want and also clean.The safety is perfect.It makes you wanna come back to work there because the situation is really friendly,all people wanna be your friend especially when it’s Friday,they will give you candy.

WORST place I have Ever Worked

No training provided but hammered on right from day one to make sales. New Sales manager is extremely disorganized and unprofessional. Made me drive hours to meet him and then just didn't show up. Pricing is too high to be competitive. Pay stubs not provided. Unprofessional environment...everyone gossips about everyone. Not given the tools and info to do the job but yet they are continuously firing new hires within the first few weeks without warning or reason. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

People were very nice and helpful... Nice atmosphere

Company is very francophone not very much English employees, all kept to themselves... Work was repeative alway the same... Stressful due to deadlines

Dynamic new management team

New management is younger and more dynamic. It is fun to work for them, the work is hard but the team is fun!Many promotions if people show good work and good ethics

Good learning environment. something always to do. Poor management

Worked as an power eng. aka maintenance. can get your 3rd class steam time there. Management is seriously lacking. Getting things ordered, tools, parts etc. is a major hassle. Equipment was old and out of date 15 years ago. often fix the same issues multiple times as the cheapest route is always taken.Pay may be typical for a standard maintenance position but if your working as a power engineer you will be disappointed in the pay.A large change could be made with upper management being refreshed. Someone who will provide maintenance with what they need could stop this place from being a perpetual revolving door of employees.

Fast pace

It could be a good place to work except top management are so hungry for power and control and makes sure everyone knows all the time. Top management should let other managers do there job without any interference

belle environnement de travail

Très forte esprit d'équipe et très belle environnement de travail tout en étant physique. le seul point négatif est que je ne trouvais pas assez de temps pour le service à la clientèle comme Directeur de district.

great workplace terrible management

i worked at alsco for some time and i have to say the job is great but the management is old school and difficult to get along with. Care more about numbers then you or the customers and will go out of there way to stab you in the back then talk to you directly.

The reward is worth the work usually, you have to work hard to make it worth your time, benefits are decent but take awhile to start up , some of the management don’t fully understand the stresses of the delivery job

Filthy environment

I do not recommend ALSCO at all. The building is run down and literally duct taped together in parts this could be overlooked if it wasn’t infested with bugs, but it is. I would find ants literally swarming my desk in the morning and other bugs I couldn’t immediately identify after my lunch turns out they were bed bugs. When I informed management of bites I received while working they dismissed my concerns and refused an exterminator

Fast paced, stressful old staff at Hanging Dept.are rude n they won’t train you instead they will yell n laugh at you if you make mistake

Management: The manager( a lady) is very pro management she never considers her staff. Very inconsiderate. They never pays for overtime even if they make you work on weekends, still on a regular rate. They are so cheap in their employees, never gives increase even if you work for several years for them.

Young and fresh thinking management

Strong team of supervisors and management in the Edmonton branch. Helped make a person feel comfortable from day one. Co-workers were helpful for the most part and friendly enough. Lacked a sense of “team” amongst the drivers but my hunch is when management recognizes this is an issue or when it becomes one they will take action to help raise the team spirit. Only downfall was there appeared to be no accountability for the more senior drivers poor performance or blatant disrespect in one instance to the customers. Overall hard work but if your not a lazy person and like meeting people it will be worth a shot.

Good place to work

Working at ALSCO is not hard to learn at all just lots to do and the work is very laborious but the benefits and paid holidays are worth it if you want to make simple money then there is the best.

mauvaise expérience de milieu de travail

Clientèle furieuse causé par retard ans livraison et la surfacturation. ne paye pas le salaire tel que convenu. dénigrement et harcèlement utilisé par la direction pas de formation très mauvais climat de travail Camion en mauvaise état mécanique et négligé environnement poussiéreux , pas propre.

Dont waste your time

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT apply to work at alsco. Managers bully employees, use scare tactics to get what they want. If you stand up for yourself they'll target you. Save yourself some stress and work elsewhere.
