Overall I found that it was a really enjoyable place to work. Management tends to change around every 6-ish months as people are always being moved around/promoted/leaving. A lot of the time I was expected to stay late to set up last minute promotions/finish things around the store so I feel as though it really put a damper on my social life. My coworkers were lovely and it does feel as though management genuinely cares about you.
I loved the first 8 years working as a manager I had the most amazing district manager that allowed me to be a mother, work and grow with the company and be very supportive in my personal and professional life. But once the dm moved on everything changed they Over worked us and we felt unappreciated as a team and I feel the company wasn’t what they stood by anymore I’m not sure why the company changed which is too bad. I did work at lululemon after Aldo and working there reminded me why I love retail.
- Opportunity to travel - Worked on projects such as opening new distribution center in Asia, implementing SAP - Hardest part of the job is not having standard working procedures / very people-dependent
