I really enjoyed working at Aldo. I found it really easy to make friends and talk to customers. The management was really chill. its a regular retail job so you are typically on your feet all day.
Really relaxed work environment, easy to make friends with coworkers
they press you about selling shoe care
Just good for the discount. They want you to be avaall the time but when you can't they say your not the right fit. They don't follow policy unless its something that will benefit them
Treat you like a number
Work is cool because my team is easy to get along with so there isn't usually any drama. I learned more responsibility being in a higher position as well as patience.

Management is pretty bad, I only have been working here for just 4 months and already saw 10+ people who quits and 4 new managers shifting and quitting as well. Culture wise is okay since diversity is A+ but when it comes to work environment overall rating then it will be F. Won't recommend for a retail sales job.
Bad Salary, Bad Management, Bad Environment
For me personally, this was a great job. I liked the amount of work that was required and the customer interaction. We went through probably 4 or 5 managers in my time there, though. So ALDO definitely didn't have its act together at the time. You have to meet certain goals but they aren't impossible, which is nice.
-flexible -clean -responsible -errands -fair -nice -social -• Responsible for all accounts payable • Record and maintain business transactions and services using Quickbooks • Create client invoices and balance financial statements • Manage rental properties, resolve tenant maintenance requests and collect rent • Mostly working independently in deadline
I was a manager at Aldo Group and I loved it. Day to day you are dealing with customers, head office, and a direct manager. There are busy times that occupy all of your time because it is retail and you spend a lot of time on your feet but it is a rewarding job.
I learned how to be a runner for shoes the people I worked with were super nice and very helpful. The management was very good at the time I worked there i got to see all the different thing that went on i a shoe store which was neat to learn and see.
A typical day at work would include presenting the store in an organized, customer friendly setting. Greeting the customer and attending to their needs effectively. in regards to management, an overall observation of employees and store operations and maintenance was involved in the job. Organizing shift changes, order and shipment packages, sales and overall constant progressive flow of the stores operation was also apart of the tasks which i was responsible for.
Flexible Shift hours based of traffic, weather or operations
Location - Limited options of arriving to work in a punctual manner
Working in retail really helped me with my customer service and communication skills. I had the chance to work with individuals that were very experienced with working with different and various types of people. I learned a lot of things about marketing, communication, sales, and how to organize items within a store. I really enjoyed working here due to the store being a jewelry and accessory shop.
Great people to work with.
Not much growth for me.
-Great team -A fun job if you're into shoe fashion -Working during seasonal hours can be stressful, but overall rewarding. -Typically customers are pleasant to work with -Didn't receive as many hours as I would have liked, due to hour budget decreasing after the Christmas season.
Poor hours, there are not many to go around
The environment working for Aldo company is easy and fun. You get to experience working and getting to know the people you work with and the customers that come in the store. Overall, I've learned the ways how retail functions and offering proper customer service. I'd say the hardest part of the job is when you are dealing with hard-headed customers and you are getting placed on the spot not knowing how to handle the situation. But, the best thing is getting to work with your coworkers that you later consider your family, and also meeting people everyday and helping them with whatever they are looking for and leaving the store satisfied.
long standing hours, wages, hours
I was in charge of helping oversee a district. I was treated poorly, and got paid next to nothing to be working easily over 60 hours a week. I was asked to skip a funeral, and was told I would be fired if I went.
Upper Management. Long unpaid hours.
This company has a great customer service policy, unfortunatly they do not treat their employees as well as their customers. If you have a problem your DM will drag you along for weeks until they will agree to meet with you, and when that meeting happens they will not have any answers to any of your questions. The hourly wage at this establishment is the lowest I've ever seen in a retail establishment. If you are fulltime employee they will put you on commission and promise you that it will make up for your lack of hourly wage, except it doesn't.
Coworkers are friendly.
Over worked and under paid.
