AlayaCare was a great concept - they provided many perks in-office, had bright fun colours, snacks, murals, and great staff events.
However, AlayaCare struggled to be efficient for their employees. Questions went unanswered, the system for HR was very disorganized and poorly managed, promotions meant a name change not a salary change, and generally AlayaCare lacked a work/life balance. The amount of under-compensated overtime staff put in here was ridiculous - everyone was very overworked to the point that they stayed late and came in on weekends in addition to normal hours. The system of providing time off in return was very much flawed, and the management just couldn't keep up with the concept.
The only positive about the place was the non-management staff - what a joy they were to work with!!
AlayaCare is growing quickly, unable to keep up with the demand of their clients feedback and changes. Staff work hard and produce very quickly - but frankly its not worth it unless you enjoy being a workaholic with little company organization. Perhaps they have improved on this front, but don't say I didn't warn you!
