Where to begin, low morale they “stress safety” however the ideology is more like “who cares just go go go” the operations manager is a self centered joke of a person, no class and respect for the workersManagement blames everything on the workers. No real direction , basically if you don’t pick up the job within a month( I’m being generous). They just assume your not fast enough and lead you to failure. High high turnover rate at this job, there are cliques as well Empty promises of change that never comes , also they seem to always “keep you on contract” just as an excuse to let you go if they don’t like you... I’ve worked for some questionable companies before.. But this one tops the cake! Forced to use and find hand me down coveralls cause they are too cheap to get new ones or repair old ones so you get either too big of coveralls or ones with tons of holes and rips in them... missing tools galore make it hard to do your job... all in all don’t work here. You will regret it!
Let you take time off when you need it

Only a good place to work if your buddies with management. They get rid of people they don't like dosen't matter if you come into work and do your job, I'am seeing it happen to the new driver. If the select few workers don't approve, one will not work at this company. Absolutely not a fair company to work for they prove it every day!!
Promising start. Then a pattern of empty promises concerning proper support. Corporate manager that did not understand the territory. Servicing clients was never on time due to improper trucks, and bad equipment. Then wrongfully blamed and let go. Overall, I would never say go work here.
Nice people and friendly place. You will only make a decent living if you put in overtime. they start you with almost minimum pay and you will be dealing with a lot of hazardous materials. if they could at least add a little incentive for working with hazardous materials, this place would be great. otherwise, $16.80 inhaling mercury and other contaminants just make people quit after a day or 2.
free lunches in summer, flexible hrs laid back place. the management is alright
low starting wage and take a year to get a raise, no room for advancement. you stay doing same thing for years
One of those jobs if you keep your head down and work robotically you can stretch it out for some time. Management is uneducated top down unfortunately. No salary reviews, RRSP cut down to DPSP. They will through some cheap food at you to keep you happy. If your looking for advancement this is definitely not the place. Continuing education payed for some not all. Management is insulated with you guessed it - buddies !!!
Too many to list :(
You are dealing with chemicals and lots of training will be given. Fast paced environment. Traveling to the job sites might be required, meals/accommodations provided.
Free BBQ's. Sometimes.Great End of the Year Bonuses
Aevitas is a company that disposed of PCB filled electrical equipment. Working there gives lots of start up experience, yet lacks future opportunities.
The pay and benefits are decent, and they have an RRSP program, but the company is not a good place to work. The management is terrible and is run by the "old boys club". Morale is always low and nothing ever seems to change this. In my time here I have seen some overhaul in supervisors and this has led to a better work environment, and it could get better still. But lots of work needs to be done to make this a good place to work. If the economy is good and you have other options, take those instead.
Decent Pay in a low economy, RRSP and benefits program
Poor management, hazardous fumes bad for health
If you work hard and prove to the right people that you're a key part in helping them continue their climb as a leader in the watse industry they will pay you well.
golf tournaments, bbq's, bonus
bad middle management ( Ayr facility)
Working with hazardous waste would always keep you on your toes.Never knew what kinds of goods would be entering the building and what the proper procedure would be to take care of them. I learned a lot about chemistry as to what products could or could not be close together. The hardest but still the most the most rewarding part of my job was keeping everything in the shop organized and accounted for. Making sure items were dissembled and packed up and ready to be transported to meet specific standards and deadlines.
Not enough work
