i have not had work since middle of march. I work 2 shifts. I tried calling my manager numerous times but she doesn't call me back. i am unsure if the company is closed due to pandemic but it has been 7 weeks with no work and no contact. it was the client who told me he no longer need me.

My typical day was working with a client who needed extra help around the house.
I assisted with daily chores and cooking meals

I found it rewarding to me to assist her with the everyday things that we take for granted.

i have worked for this company for a few months now. I rarely have an opportunitty to speak to the supervisor as she doesn't return call or texts. She epects me to communicate any schedule changes, sick calls, change of service to the client. Clients are unhappy with care they get and we psws get yell at for it. I took bus to my clients house. got there. find out we double booked. i called supervisor she say it was mistake and she refuse to pay me for my time saying we cant bill client for my error. it was not my error. i have text. company inconsiderit.

This is Angela McGuire. I am the owner of the company and I am very disappointed to hear these things about your experience with my company. I assure you that our policy in situations where a PSW is double booked is that we make sure that the PSW is compensated for that shift and paid for the shift as it is our error. With regards to your other concerns I would definitely like an opportunity to speak with the manager about these details but I need to know more information. I always recommend that all PSWs can call me with any issues or concerns. Working with Access Personal Support has been an absolute pleasure. Management is approachable and available for extended hours, including weekends, to provide support. My manager specifically has been incredibly diligent and understanding throughout my experience. In an effort to support professional development, she consistently provides feedback and conducts “check-ins”. She treats me like family, and I’ve experienced the same treatment from upper management.

Working for Access provides you with the opportunity to build your own schedule. Your shifts are fairly flexible and you have significant control over how much or how little you work. You are responsible for overseeing your day to day sessions, which nurtures the development of various management and interpersonal skills.

Things were great in the beginning, a lot of hours but in the past 6 months i have been told there is a shortage of hours. I recently learned newer workers are getting clients closer to home with longer hours meanwhile I have been without hours and travelling far distances. Things have changed drastically since new management took over.

Communication with our supervisor is rare. She is too busy to take your call or is with clients when you need her help. Clients are unhappy with the company as they do not receive calls back from the supervisor and often time only learn of schedule changes from me - the psw.

Was hired to work with this company after 4 weeks i was let go. I was not given a real reason, other then they will call me when they get more hours. Pay was very little. Owner gave me little support when i needed her help with client support.

Managers always have your best interest at need, always are great with hours and training on the field. Always available Diloretoandlong feedback with any questions at anytime of the day. Very supportive company with their employees.
