A great company that actually cares about their employees; be it the people being sent out for work, or the internal staff, everyone is cared for. The company culture is second to none.
So many benefits (too many to name), no micromanagement, can grow in any aspect of the company you choose
Sometimes the office is a little cold, only thing I can think of
I started at ABL as a General Labourer with little work experience. The office staff was friendly and helpful. When the first job they set me up for didn't work out they found me something else. I am now working in a Production role and have recently been hired on. Great place, highly recommend.
Weekly pay, lots of jobs available, friendly staff
Not all jobs are for everyone
Abl is an awesome work place with lots of rotating jobs that give lots of learning experiences. The hours are flexible as well as being able to choose your preferred hours days and jobs. Over all id recommend ABL too anyone looking for work or even looking for a first time job .

ABL Employment is a great place to grow your career! I started off as an assignment employee and ABL sent me to a few different industrial jobs: plastics factory, electronics warehouse, clothing warehouse, etc. while I was on summer breaks from university. This was a great experience and an easy way to support myself since they pay weekly and the work itself was not very difficult. ABL's incentives have gotten even better for assignment employees over the past couple of years with new perks such as the Quick Start Pay Program (get your 1st day's pay faster), monthly gift card draws, annual A Better Life award, Covid Care Dollars, and the referral bonus program. After I graduated I was offered a job as an office admin at ABL's Streetsville location and from there I was offered a job as a regional recruiter where I developed skills in advertising, interviewing, and much more. ABL eventually created my current position for me based on my passion and growth in that area! Thank you ABL for teaching me valuable skills and giving me so much opportunity for success & growth!

My experience with ABL was alright, it wasn't horrible but wasn't amazing. I've dealt with a few agencies before and maybe it's because they focus on light industrial type of jobs it's going to be different then some other agencies. The jobs are decent if you're looking to earn some money to pay bills etc. Some are temporary and some are temp-perm. The people at the office are alright as well - they're nice but I felt like they didn't totally care in terms of the people they bring on or if they do they don't show it very well. The manager is like cold as ice and not very empathetic, she needs to be more personable and just be more open.
Sometimes they had some good jobs, they pay was decent.
Locations for the jobs, it's like the people in the office don't really care for what they do and it's just a job to them.
This was my first job and gave me a good look at what the workforce was going to be like. I was only a temporary worker so you get moved around a lot to wherever there is work available. You will go to some nice places for a while but have to be flexible with your hours and be able to travel wherever they send you
I really enjoy working with ABL... they are one of the few agencies that continue to send me job openings even when it has been several months since the last one I worked. They are pleasant, respectful, inclusive and don’t require me to call them every week to let them know if I am available... the jobs are usually interesting manufacturing ones (I like to learn how things are made), not too difficult, nice coworkers for the most part, with the hardest part being standing on my feet for long periods of time... the pay is not great but that’s what you get with temp jobs... I don’t remember the exact rate of pay but I think it is better than some other agencies... all in all ABL is an awesome agency!
They don't pay enough for the horrible work they put you in, you are up to your knees in grease at dofasco and they make you climb 4 stories of stairs with 50lb bags of grease over both shoulder and expect you to go up and down lugging bags of grease for 12 hours at only $15 an hour!? Then on top of that they send u to areas of dofasco that are known to be extremely dangerous for respiratory problems and infections and they just give you a dust mask and tell you to suck it up or go home this is exactly how my grandfather got lung cancer.
Great enviroment for both safe working and learning excperience, aswell as good future experience for jobs later on:)
best couple years of my life. always wanting too go in even on a few bad days ill addmit, but you can adapt and overcome easily and they work with you as best as possible
They were a great company to work for until you stayed there long enough to know what's really going on. they're simply filling production jobs in very large corporations with unskilled staff in the hopes that someone stick and they get a high commission. The recruiters are so unprofessional and i even saw some of the running around the parking lot of the competitors with a plastic bag of dog feces smearing it on the door handles. Typical day work involves showing up for your shift going to a safety meeting and standing around doing nothing 2/3 of the time in fighting off boredom at the same time you're at the risk of death from the safety hazards.
