Very poor management...very unprofessional to manage business and employees. No rewards...no advancements. Dont expect anything. Do not know how to treat employees equally. Favouritism as well. They have their own fiancé on management position. Time theft happens oftenly.
I worked with several different restaurants, and all were the same. Poorly managed & lots of staffing issues. You're either worked too much, or barely scheduled at all, so not a good fit for someone whose looking for part time work. You must have full open availability in order to actually get the shifts. It's great for a first job - but that's pretty much it.

The whole job is made by the other employees. Most of the time they are good, but there a lot of snakes to beware of. The overall general manager of the whole building is good, but the manager of just A&W is horrible at her job. She never orders enough to get us through to the next delivery, she runs the building with favoritism and is generally just bad at her job.

I loved all the friends I made working there but my boss was manipulative and abusive. I was afraid to go into work most days and got yelled at about the smallest things. But super flexible and people generally cared about the product
The environment was very fast-paced, and constantly moving. There was some poor time management due to the fact that the workers were expected to be cleaning while also serving customers during the rushes. Majority of the time was understaffed
learn how to properly greet custoemrs as well as what to do when you get an incorrect order and how to resolve it, learn what is food safe and what isn't.

Must be people orintated, catch on quick, and very clean while working with food. Have to be careful working in kitchen because of grills, and hot grease. Can't mix fish with anything in fryers. Chicken has to be cooked separate also. Make sure that you are making it to customer satisfaction. Have to wear uniform and non-slip shoes at all times. Being on time is important.
Has rotating doors
With the new owner we have, working here have been a struggle and physically draining because of lack of staff specially when it is busy, one man station plus the manager and his sister.
working at a restaurant can be very stress full at time but its still very fun there is always something to do and keeps us busy. its a very fast pace job. you need to have a lot of patience when dealing with customers. over all its a great place to work at.
Wonderful place to work for. the staff were treated as though we were a family and as a result we had a very low turnover. Due to the family mentality, our location received numerous awards over the years and were able to see constant growth in productivity.
Worked at the village mall location for 7 years supervisor for 6. Benefits were provided. But its hard to get them to work around appointments etc. Also the owner don't really care about his employees just as long as they are at work regardless sick or not.
