Management and supervisor are not experience and not professional, Your not appreciated. Your left working by yourself with kids that don't work. You ask for help and the boss tells you yo go home if your frustrated.

the location i worked at was in a mall and was usually fast paced. the location was dirty and the mall had rodent issues. the people were friendly and easy to get along with. the location is now under new ownership and management. i was fired for no reason.
I was interviewed when the franchise first arrived in LLB. We were all trained together. Whoever showed up was hired. It might be different at an existing store.
typical day is take orders,pack orders and cleaning. Everyone I work with is pretty nice however we have been through a lot of staff in 5 years. Most enjoyable part of the job is interacting with the guests, most stressful part of the job is when there inst enough staff and it gets busy and your running around like a crazy person. I have been there 5 years and the only raises I got was when minimum wage went up and there are no benefits
Working in the food industry it definitely helps a person grow a thicker skin, but also getting to know some of the regular customers is a bonus, especially when you have their coffee or their order already done before they have even paid.

The manager is inept at her job and doesn't adequately train her employees. Harasses her workers while they are trying to serve customers and blames her mistakes on the service staff. Customers have contacted the head office but nothing was done. Horrible place to work in Sooke.
Hard to get the hours, managers don't schedule fairly (ex: call in sick, you don't get hours the next week or they're very low and out of your availability) just really poor everything there. $100 for the uniforms, online training you don't get paid for. Everything about this experience sucked.
A&W was fun! It was always light happy and positive when I went into work. Everyone always made the job as fun as possible. I didnt have a whole lot of experience with angry or unhappy customers.
Environment, employees. Customer base, food quality.
Managers and employees there before my being hired were given better hours and shifts. I only recieved maybe 2 days work a week and only for 3-4hrs at a time even after I expressed interest in more hours.

Not enough hours and managers definitely played favorites
