Aw management is the worst that I've ever seen the customers can be rude at times and it is very stressful to get orders completed on time I would not recommend this as a first job as it is very difficult for a person to manage.
Good hours and discounted lunch
Long hours and managment is very rude

A typical workday made the fries, onion rings, sweet potatoes, chicken strips, cut the pickles tomatoes and onions. I learned how to make the fries and onion rings. I management was awesome. The workplace culture was good. the hardest part was getting home at night. the most enjoyable thing was meeting new people.
The management had no idea what to do and were just in it for a paycheck like everyone else. And its fast food what do you expect its gonna be garbage
It's fast food entry level job you know its gonna be bad.I'm just typing to fill the minimum because all you need is a few sereneness to describe the job.
good food at a cheaper price
The worst management ever, I signed the contract on July 27 and I started working in November 3th. They made me pay for an uniform and I only worn that 3 weeks and the cost of the uniform was 117 CAD. Basically I worked just to pay it. They fired people because they said they were overstaffed. In other words, I waited 3 months to work 3 weeks and my earnings I had to use them to pay for the uniform. So yeah. I do not recommend this place
good for starting job they help you learn a lot and help you grow but pay increases are rare. you will prove yourself but then too they will ask you to complete training wihtout a trainer
I enjoyed working at A&W and the hawors given to me where fare and routined. The training was not as effective as I thought it would be but with the help of my fellow employed members, i became more skilled.
gaining many skills in the workplace
Lack in training methods
A&W was a great company to work for, i always felt safe and excited going into work and seeing the people I had created bonds with and making the shifts enjoyable and fun while also maintaining a clean/sad work space and happy customers.
50% discount, amazing staff members, good hours
long shifts, was treated poorly by customers at times
I really liked how positive this team was particularly the one I worked at was inside a mall, they really were keen on service time as it affects our timings and the happiness of the customers. And when they reached a goal they did this goofy thing where they all high-fived another and appreciated giving them compliments. I really like that because there are places where you work at and they are quite frankly not as motivated as they should be, towards their workers.
40% off food, $1 drinks
Not enough hours, mall hours
hardest part of the job is when it is rush hour and there are not enough people working especially at the back so you need to cover at least 2 stations.
discounted food 50%, flexible schedule
regular workers and team leaders has the same rate
A&W is a good place to work, and lots of advancement opportunities but pay could be better and your typical hours are from 8-9.5 hours a day. You will always be learning new things.
Free Meal for Manager
with all work places it has its pros and cons but currently because of the bosses i have been granted with i would say they are the only people who keep me motivated in the job i do and the work ethic i continue with.
